We stayed in this hotel at the begging of our two weeks Spain tour. The hotel is located on a hill, in a residential suburb of outer Barcelona. It has a great location in a historic old castle from the year 801 AD, with lovely views towards Barcelona. The building is still beautiful but clearly in need of a refresh. The grounds are nicely maintained, full of plants and birds and has a large pool with a beautiful panorama view of Barcelona in the background. We’ve got a nice room on the second floor, far right side with a large outdoor terrace. The room itself was fine, outdated but clean as was the bathroom. The little town of Sant Boi de Llobregat, down the road, is a Must. Every day, after coming back from Barcelona, we spent the evenings wondering around, enjoying a glass of vine on one of the little terraces or the classic Spanish sweet churros con chocolate. If you want a delicious pizza and a nice glass of limoncello just stop at Pizzeria Mammatina. The Hotel is 15 minutes close to the El Prat airport and 20 minutes to Barcelona, by car. You can use the train from Sant Boi and have a metro ride to Barcelona to visit the major sights. We parked our car on the outskirts of Barcelona, bought a 10-trip card for the metro and we walked around. We suggest spending at least three days to see Barcelona’s major attractions. Make sure to book in advance tickets for Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s buildings and Guell park. Don’t miss a stroll through Las Rambla early in the morning, walk on the narrow streets of Gothic Quarter, pick a sandwich at La Bosqueria Market, have a lazy stay in Catalonia Square or enjoy the freshness of Ciutadella Park. There are also numerous remarkable museums and exhibitions for every taste. We enjoyed every one of it!! Barcelona is an amazing city to visit! And…make sure to arrange a day trip and visit the beautiful Montserrat Abbey, less than one-hour drive from the hotel.
Side Note - If you want to stay close to Barcelona’s main attractions, this is not the hotel for you. If you like quiet, don’t book the weekends, because there are always weddings and parties and it’s pretty noisy around.

Room;
Did the job. Nothing amazing but nothing that scared us away either. Comes with a mini fridge which was a lifesaver. The TV channels are in Spanish but if you know what you're doing, some of the movie channels can be switched to English!
Was a quiet room like we had asked for. This place hosts weddings during weekends so the noise is real! Didn't affect our stay much as we got a room away from all the action but please do be mindful about this.
Staff;
Very friendly, polite and attentive. Only some staff speak English so if you don't speak Spanish or Catalan, please watch our for that. Did our research on how to get around/what to see etc so we did not need hotel assistance, but I felt that the information and help was readily available to anyone who needed it.
Location;
Mixed thought's about this as it's a challenging climb if you're on foot but on the other hand a close walk to Sant Boi metro station (don't listen to Google maps which says it's a 15 min walk). As you exit the station you can cut through the mini shopping arcade sort of building directly in front across the road ( a minute tops) and you're only 10 mins walk fro there, eve less.
Pool;
The pool area is looked after and does feel nice to be around. The water is not heated so will be extra cold. The sun chairs could use a good scrub though.

Breakfast;
This was a massive let down. Highly unappetizing and over priced (€10 per person). We were not planning on having breakfast at the hotel however thought we'd give it a try. There was no range and tasted below average. Did not bother with any other food from the hotel after that.
Staff;
We almost got charged for breakfast for all the nights we stayed when infact we only had breakfast once. They were not trying to rip us off, just a lack of communication between the person at the till and the person checking people going in for breakfast. Please make sure that whatever add-ons you pay for are charged accurately as you might get charged extra (again, the staff was lovely and no issues with them and the hotel, just need to up their communication a little).
Overall;
Didn't feel like we got our money's worth for the level of quality we experienced. Feel like I could have done better for the same price if I had looked around harder.
Needs renovation badly. Room was old but clean. Breakfast is not great. Cannot really recommend except for the price.
Staff are friendly. The pool looked nice but the outside is fake grass, kind of odd.
We flew in for a short break to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is only fifteen minutes from El Prat Airport and although there was some room changing requested, the hotel receptionist, Roberto, was excellent and we were transferred to a first floor room with a fine view from the balcony. The weather being warm allowed some longing around the outside pool and swimming to cool down. The hotel food was acceptable although the choice not that varied. Breakfast was normal with hot or cold dishes as you would expect. The hotel is of medium size and appears popular. We certainly would return.
Stayed here for one night/two days recently. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is about 10 mins drive from the airport and cost approx.20 euros each way.
We had a room overlooking the pool area with a small balcony.The room itself was nice enough with a modern style bathroom,furnished in a simple Spanish style.
The hotel offers a set meal deal in its restaurant every evening. Approx 25 Euros for 3 courses plus a drink.Its really nice food in a lovely setting.
The pool area is large enough to spend time around soaking up the sun.
Even though there were two weddings on at the hotel when we were there it didn't feel crowded at all.
We will definatly return to this hotel in the near future.
