Had an exceptional stay at this hotel. Although in the countryside with views of the mountains behind, this hotel did not dissapoint. The breakfast was good, the rooms were large and the pool area is safe for the whole family. The grounds of this hotel had plenty of areas to explore and sit quitely. They also have a restaurant which serves traditional foods and we would recommend, used this restaurant most of our week stay. All of the staff at this hotel were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their english is very good so no barrier for not speaking Italiano. Public transport for getting to local places such a Pisa and Lucca are good also. The detour to get to the hotel is rather lengthy due to the bridge being closed to motorists etc. We walked to the main road from the hotel which takes about five mins from hotel grounds or less. Would definitely go back for its traditional Tuscany feel, quiet area away from Pisa and friendly welcome.

Great welcoming by reception, immediatley in holiday atmosphere. Great pool, big rooms (bed a bit short) and god breakfast. Only diner in the separate restaurant was a bit disappointing, location by the way also good.

The hotel and grounds look nothing like the photos. The gardens are all overgrown and full of rubbish. The rooms are basic but ok. There is no bar. The breakfasts are very poor. Only good thing is the pool.

Hotel is hard to find with sat nav due to a permanent road closure, not hotels fault though.

Rooms and breakfast were lovely, nice tranquil setting, have a hire car as tranquil setting does obviously mean it's a bit away from Pisa centre.

Staff were friendly and pool looked inviting.
