We booked one night and stayed in the Jasmine suite. The room was adequate and the bed comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the owner was very friendly and welcoming and recommended some places in the village to eat for our evening meal.
Quirky place, 1980's style. But that only added to the charm. The owner was a nice bloke. Came across as very welcoming and gentle. The breakfast was superb. Plus there was a dog. I love a dog.
The floor in the room sagged so much that I didn't dare put a glass of water on the bedside table, but the building is seriously old.
Thanks for a great stay.
We stayed over 2 nights and we loved it. We had the Willow Room which was just perfect. Adrian and his daughter were so welcoming and helpful and they couldn't do anymore to help you. Adrian even told us where to go and eat and was such a character. When we arrived on the Sunday it was the last day of Ingleton's 1940's weekend which was fantastic. Just shows that a small community can pull together and have a wonderful time. We loved the dancing in the streets outside the Guest House. The breakfast at Seed Hill Guest House is excellent, it has a very large selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and porridge. The Full English breakfast really sets you up for the day however, if you just want some of the items that are on the menu, Adrian will go out of his way to cook just what you want. We loved staying here and are looking forward to coming back in the near future. BTW the Garden Centre at the front of the property is very nice with a variety of flowers and plants.
This B&B is perfectly located in the centre of Ingleton. It has several places nearby for food and drink. We loved the character of this 400 year old house. We were in the Willow room which was lovely and quiet at night. No view from our window, but we were hardly there for that to matter. Breakfast was good, with plenty of variety. The coffee was very good and the owners will accommodate a variety of preferences for you food-wise.
It is literally a short walk to the start of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail so perfectly placed for that.
A bonus for us, as garden lovers, was the garden centre that the owner has built up and which is located at the front of the B&B. A big choice of plants at very reasonable prices.
We stayed as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 4yo) in February. We were given a lovely family room, huge double bed and bunk beds. Plenty of hot water for a shower. Great location in the village and short walking distance to the waterfall trail. The breakfast was superb, everything freshly prepared and a huge selection of cereals, fruits and yoghurts for a lighter option. Adrian was extremely hospitable and friendly, we arrived ahead of check in and he was more than happy to show us where to park the car and to keep our cases so that we could get out and start exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be returning.
