We spent a week at the Hotel Essentia Aracena. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the town and surrounding area. All the rooms are individually designed and a it quirky. The best part of our room was the shower - it was amazing. We ate breakfast in the hotel each day and enjoyed it. We also used the bar in the evening and found the choice and value for money good. The staff were very helpful.
Hotel very different, full of art pieces which were also in the bedroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and had one of the best meals we have had. We would stay again without hesitation.
We loved our stay at Essentia! Food was really excellent, the room & decor of the hotel is really unusual & the hotel is perfectly placed to explore Aracena and enjoy some tapas in the nearby main square. A lovely pool and outdoor area was great to cool off, the staff were helpful & friendly, overall 5 stars.
Had a pleasant short break in Aracena at this hotel and restaurant, the food was very good, tasty and plentiful. The surroundings were very clean, but for our taste a little too clinical and cluttered in the bedroom with impractical furnishings and accessories. Unfortunately, during our stay the pool was unusable and construction work on the adjoining property was an unpleasant alarm clock!!
We stayed here 2 nights with a gap from 5 days. This was our 2nd & 3rd visit to this very nice boutique hotel. Disapointing was the fact that again we got room 5 (above the generator of the kitchen) but also this time they gave us room 5. So if it’s possible please give your guests the better room instead of asking for it. The breakfast is nice for only €5-6. The coffee to strong for my taste but that’s personal. The Gastro bar is fantastic! We had the tataki atun, the pulpo, hamburguesa de salmon and the esperagos. All very nice with a great Montsant Priorat wine for €19. The service in the hotel is profesional and unpersonal. Almost indifferent with exception of the cook and the cleaning lady. No conversation or even an attempt. The real negative issue is how bad WiFi at the hotel works! We have to work and every 2 minutes you have to login or it didn’t work. And when we went to the reception twice they started to argue with us!!! Our advice, NEVER EVER start an argument with your guests when their WiFi is not working. Who cares that your own WiFi works. That you at the reception has no problems. We’ll love to come back but next time please solve the problem instead of blaming your guests?!
