Our stay was due to a PCS move. We started out in a one bedroom handicap room...it was not the most desirable place to stay not due to cleanliness but due to upgrades and broken shower head, but I believe they are now working on that room. Within the first week, we moved across the hall to a very nice room. It has a bedroom, updated bathroom, living room and deck. The entire building is VERY clean. The housekeeping staff does an amazing job cleaning every day. They cleaned our room frequently, checked with us daily to see if we needed anything, and became aware of our needs and wants and would preemtively help us out. Emely and Lyn (our housekeepers) could not have been kinder and more helpful. We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so on our way off island at the end of this tour.

As civilians we were granted access to this hotel (Father was WWII vet) for a special service in the Punchbowl cemetery. Loved the layout of the room with the bedroom on one side of the bathroom, and living area with a sofa and chair on the other. There is a microwave and mini-fridge and table with chairs for dining. We were on the first floor and had a large walk out patio with chairs and great views of Pearl Harbor. The bed was a double which is kind of tight for two tall adults, but for 3 days we managed. We needed to print some things for the ceremony, and the front desk helped immensely. Breakfast is minimal, but free, and while skimpy on protein was decent on fruit. For the price and location, this was really a gem.

We had a very nice stay here at the IHG lodge at Tripler AMC. It is in an older building, but it has been well maintained. The suite we had was very comfortable and the amenities were quite good. It is positioned right on the Tripler campus, so we were able to take advantage of amenities there, too. The location made it easy to access sites on Oahu. Staff was welcoming. Would certainly stay again.

InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) is the Holiday Inn chain of hotels. If this place is owned and run by IHG, then it is not up to standard. I usually like to stay at military lodgings when I travel when available. I stay at hotels for a safe, clean, and comfortable place to sleep. This place is safe, clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly. Their continental breakfast was okay if the items they offered was replenished when empty such as eggs, yogurt, breads, etc. The coffee was cold and had to be warmed in the microwave. The view of Honolulu from our room made up for a subpar breakfast.

I really liked it here. Very convenient. Staff friendly, room clean and spacious. I loved the original wooden features, please don't modernise this place into a soulless chain hotel the same as a 1000 others!!
