It was our big pleasure to meet Lekaj family (the owners). The accommodation is perfect, restaurant is the best in Medulin and swimming pool refreshes you after sunny day on the beach! We spent our best time here and definitely will come again. Fully recommend to all couples and families!

The B&B Villa Zibi is simple but nice and cosy and very good value for money; it is conveniently located near the port of Medulin and the beaches and in the neighborhood you can find all possible facilities such as bars, restaurants supermarkets. It also offers a good breakfast until 11 and a nice pool on the roof of the main structure.
The room where we stayed was nice and clean, simple but well furnished and with all comforts, including a large refrigerator, air conditioning and a nice terrace.
The hotel staff was very kind and helpful, especially the chief-lady, who was always very kind and friendly and gave us great advices about the surrounding beaches, Cape Premantura and, especially, she recommended us two fantastic restaurants for the evening. Absolutely recommended.

The staff is very nice and helpful, at first in German but they have no problem with English.
Entering the room I was a bit disappointed, the room was smaller than the pictures, but I didn't go there to stay in the room. It was enough for 2 people.

There were some complaints that in the first building there is a lot of noise from the street, I wouldn't know anything about that, I stayed in the back, it was almost total quiet ... the walls are not that thick, I could hear almost every opening/closing of the doors. I was bothered about this only one night, the other times I was so tired I couldn't hear a thing.
Overall a great experience.

This was our first visit to Croatia and we could not have hoped for much better by staying at Villa Zibi. The room we had was clean and the bed made everyday and frequent fresh towels. The owner Alenka was extremely friendly and helped make our stay very enjoyable and helped us with advice on things to do and even on one occasion booked our trip to the National Park and kindly dropped us off for the boat. Her family, Maria and Katerina were all very helpful, friendly and welcoming and overall on our experience we highly recommend booking to stay at Zibi whether it be for a short or longer term vacation. The breakfast buffet was fine for us and served from 8.00am to 11.00am and kept us going for most of the day to evening meal which we got from one of the many local restaurants on the front or in the town centre. We also loved the roof top sun terrace and swimming pool which we used on a couple of days which had great views and felt very private. We enjoyed staying at Villa Zibi and felt at home and loved our many chats with Alenka and her family and staff.

We really enjoyed our week at Villa Zibi.

Booking direct was easy and Alenka [owner] was very prompt with her responses to our queries.

The appartments and the whole complex were very clean and the staff - especially Kat - could not have been more friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast was basic but the quality good, with juices, fruit, cereals and a selection of local cheeses and cold meats. All the residents mixed at breakfast, exchanging notes, and offering suggestions as to places to visit and restaurants to dine at.

There is a swimming pool on the roof of the first block, which is small, but serves the purpose, especially as it is used infrequently by the guests. We used it at the end of the day to unwind, and we normally had it to ourselves.

There was a bit of an issue when we arrived, as our appartment was undergoing repairs following some sort of leak in the bathroom. It wasn't ready until the 3rd day and we spent two nights in different appartments. Not great, but these things happen. When we eventually got the key to our appointed room, we were very pleased, as it was roomy with a modern bathroom and kitchen area. There was also a nice balcony.

The villa is situated on the outskirts of the town, about a 10 minute walk from the tourist 'strip', with all its restaurants, bars and ice-cream parlours. We took the first road to the left as you headed into town, as this led to the old town, which was much more like the Croatia I had known from previous visits. We especially enjoyed the cafe in the square, and it seemed like a world apart from the hussle and bussle down the road.

There is a very large campsite situated at the far end of town, and this was busy, but if you walked far enough around, you were able to find a quiet spot to sunbathe, although the shoreline was rocky apart from a sandy beach near to the entrance to the campsite. This, unsurprisingly was very busy.

We hired bikes at very competitive rates and enjoyed a memorable boat trip on the good ship 'Sandra'. The on-board meal was excellent and there were plenty of stops for swimming and sun bathing. The trip can be booked down by the waterfront opposite the harbour restaurants.

The quality of food during our stay was generally high and we enjoyed some excellent seafood at very reasonable prices. Once again, we found the restaurants leading up to the old town to offer better food in a more traditional setting.

I must also point out that the appartments were very quiet, so if it is relaxation you are after, then you won't be disappointed.

One nice touch from the owners. It was a belated honeymoon for us, and Kat lit up the swimming pool area with candles and very kindly left a bottle of wine and some nibbles on the house. We went up once it was dark and the whole thing looked really lovely. A very nice touch.

Our taxi fare from the airport was high [200 kunas], but we used Taxi Medulin [+385 99 800 1958] on the way back and it cost around 120 Kunas. Nice bloke and well worth booking in advance.
