Write a reviewCharming bungalows, but very basic. You will encounter ants and other insects in the room. The restaurant serves some tasty Balinese dishes, but hygiene may be an issue. One of their dogs walked freely in and out the kitchen and peed in the dining area on the floor/against a chair. Friendly staff.

Location great. The accommodation is tired, run down and inadequate. I paid for two nights but had to leave after the first. Booking.com have been informed as i booked through them. The rooms were small, unclean with ants in the room and around the cup and bathroom.

The whole beautiful place with its traditional bungalows and lovely views , when they emerged from the mist, was marred by lack of maintenance and management with a broken toilet, leaky roof, missed food orders, no wifi ,dirty cups in the room and a mosquito net with more holes than net.Younger staff delightful if lacking in action!

The area is spacious, but lack of maintenance. Not too clean, and gardening seems not taken care of. The bungalow is unique, resembling the traditional Lumbung. But rot and mildew already started to get into some of the bungalows. No aircon, but temperature was cool so you don't need it. Hot shower was adequate, but shower and rest room amenities was old and broken. Bedroom was clean and windows open to every direction made fresh mountain air flow into the room and nice mountainous view, too. Maybe there will be insects in certain times at the year but bed equipped with mosquito net. Nice trekking to the waterfall and surrounding areas. Nice and friendly staff, good breakfast. Quiet surroundings, lush greenery, fresh air , makes this place a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bali.

Wonderful Balinese house, good sized bedroom with a balcony with armchairs overlooking the mountains. The toilet and shower room was adequate although the supply of hot water was not dependable.
The restaurant served a good range of food and the staff throughout the hotel were helpful and courteous. The centre of Munduk is 1 km away and the road a little hazardous for walking. The hotel arranged taxis to visit local attractions and then to the airport at Denpasar.
