A super couple of nights spent at Finca Son Pont. A stunningly beautiful spot in the hills but only about 30 mins drive from Palma. So peaceful and tranquil.
Great, enthusiastic and energetic welcome by Francesco (and very friendly dog) on arrival. Room was wonderful, very clean and super comfortable. Complimentary beer and tapas in the evening sunshine was lovely.
So good to stroll the vast grounds with a swimming pool available for the energetic. Very interesting to explore the family history hidden in the Finca buildings.
Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

Ok, so this is a Finca with quite some history tied to it, especially looking at the main house. We spent a couple of days in a nice room for our 3 children, and in a very, very basic room for ourselves. Basic as in the kind of room you get in a low-budget airport hotel. My discussion with the owner's son on this, triggered the owner to approach my wife the next day in a rather passive-aggressive way, while neither of them were present during that discussion. During check-out, the children were ordered to leave the room with the following commands: "We need room" and "Swith-off airco".In conclusion, Is it expensive? Not really. Does it have history? Yes. Do they understand how to treat or serve guests? No. Will we ever return? Nope.

In June 2017 my husband and I got married at Son Pont. We stayed at the Finca for three nights with 30 of our closest friends and family. The whole weekend was just an absolute dream. The Finca itself is absolutely beautiful. Each room (and I saw pretty much all of them!) is gorgeous, rustic yet modern, clean and with four poster beds, air conditioning and a fridges. All our guests did not stop raving about the hotel and the grounds. The pool area is great for adults and children and boasts endless views of the mountains of the Tramuntana Unesco Heritage region. The town of Puigpunyent is a very short (less than 10 mins) drive from the Finca - would recommend hiring a car to make use of restaurants etc in the town. Breakfast provided at the Finca was great - just what you need.

The owner and the manager were both incredibly friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us and the whole wedding party. We felt completely at home. Overall a fantastic stay and I would recommend it to anybody wanting a relaxed outdoor wedding or a chilled holiday, reconnecting with nature.

Finca Hotel Son Pont was the dreamiest wedding location I have visited, absolutely stunning views of the surrounding mountains and winery. I was staying in a suite with 3 friends at Son Pont, the rooms were spacious with a huge bathroom, very handy for 4 girls getting ready. The rooms were clean and have everything you need - fridge, air con, toiletries, towels, hairdryer etc. The pool area was a great place to relax after the wedding also :) Breakfast was provided each morning at Son Pont, perfect location in the garden to enjoy the scenery. The staff at Son Pont were incredible, really welcoming and provided anything we needed.

I would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue or to stay on holiday :)

A lovely hotel in a wonderful location! The hotel, wider estate and views are simply spectacular. We were upgraded to the tower "honeymoon" room for no extra charge. The staff were incredibly friendly and had a great passion for the hotel and the island and were full of useful recommendations.

The hotel truly made our stay and we would definitely go back and/or recommend to others.

Questions & answers about the rooms

All the rooms come with a sitting area however the suites are in a building next to the pool, these have a separate lounge and I would imagine need booking in advance. Breakfast is continental so a buffet with cold cut meats boiled eggs bread etc.. and one of those coffee machines you have to put cartridges in! more youth hostel than four star. But... it is a beautiful place
