We stayed for three nights. Hotel is bit out of town which I liked. The surrounding hills are nice to look at. The staff are very professional and courteous. Having a hot tub on your balcony is great. Bathrooms are large and jacuzzi tub a nice touch. Dressing are us also large. Bed which is a Beautyrest Black mattress was very comfortable. This being a 5* star resorts I had sone concerns. The resort felt dated to be especially furniture in room. Our AC did not work properly. We complained and somebody replaced filter which made it work for a day but then it did not work again. Did not like valet parking system during Covid-19. Restaurant brunch was just so. Instead of jazz brunch it should be called Folks brunch as no single jazz piece was played. I also did not like that hostess Asked me about food allergies (raw onions) but then several of the dishes served during brunch had raw onions. Why ask about allergies if nothing is done about it. Spoke with manager about it who had little to say and did not even care to ask my name. He said he would speak to his staff about this. Pool. Very nice, but towel service was not available during all the times the pool said it was open.

We had a great 5 day stay here. Very relaxing and everyone is gracious. The entire team at breakfast is so pleasant and wonderful to wake up to- especially Edgar!! Kind of random, but iced tea here is very good. Norwegian potato pancake breakfast is so yummy!!! Thank you for taking care of us. Rooms are super nice and cozy- a couple days it was chilly and we just put the fire on in our room and enjoyed.

I stayed at the hotel July 24th and 25th and had a wonderful experience. The staff has implemented several health and safety protocol and was quick to answer my questions and ease my mind. The room was absolutely spotless! I felt safe and taken care of for the duration of my stay. The hotel and their team was completely on point and have really put great thought into how they will welcome and care for their guests. Kudos to the whole team.

There is nothing like the Stein Eriksen. This hotel is the pinnacle of customer service and providing an excellent experience. The management and staff are very attentive to every detail of your trip and will ensure your expectations are met, and most likely exceeded. Unless you will just be in your room for sleeping do yourself a favor and book the suites. The suites are spectacular, the deluxe rooms are nice but not nearly as nice and don't provide the view.

Room Tip: The pool view suites have equally as good of a view as the mountain view rooms in my opinion.

We spent 3 nights over the holidays at this wonderful property and loved everything about it...the staff were wonderful...always responsive and eager to help. It is a large property so carefully select where you want to stay. We were put in a room that was quite a walk from the main lodge and in the cold, snowy weather we preferred to be in the lodge so fortunately they were able to move us. But, if you prefer being off in a quieter area than you have lots of options. The hotel was decorated for the holidays so it added to our experience but I would return to this hotel any time of the year and know we would love it just as much. The location is ideal and there is a shuttle that takes you into town that runs frequently so you don't need to rent a car. And, the ski slope is accessed right from the hotel. I could not recommend this property more.

Carolyn, Thank you for the inquire. Yes, our guest rooms are configured with a washer and dryer located in a common foyer. When reserving your room, I would suggest contacting our in-house reservation team and they will be able to explain the design and layout in regards to your specific room preference. Stein Eriksen Lodge is located mid-mountain Deer Valley. All private instruction will meet and greet you directly at the Lodge in our ski locker room which is a ski in/ski out facility. Ski school is located at the base of Deer Valley. Stein Eriksen Lodge provides transportation to the base for ski school and group lessons. The shuttle ride is typically less than 10 minutes away. In respect to specifics, I find it best to contact our reservation and concierge team directly to ensure all aspects of your trip are fully covered. Please see our website for further information. I hope this has been helpful in preparing for you winter trip. Sincerely, Dan Bullert Hotel Manager
