This hotel was terrible. We stayed here because it was near the airport and we had an early flight out. I would not stay here again. The rooms were filthy! Had we not gotten in so late we would have found a different hotel! We slept in our clothes on top of the sheets because the sheets did not look clean. The entire room was filthy...the walls, the carpet, the bathroom. The bathroom light did not work. There was no waste basket in the room. The door did not shut right. The smoke detector was hanging off of the wall. The location was good but not worth it!!!! You could not pay me to stay here again.
This hotel was falling apart and they were going to charge me $99/night. From looking at the interior of our room, you'd think it survived a nuclear fallout and had been abandoned for some time. The blankets on the bed were stained and had ciggerette burns. The smoke alarm was hanging on to the wall by a few exposed wires. The electrical outlets looked dangerous. One had a large hole in the wall next to it. We tried to charge a phone in one outlet, but the plug falls straight back out. The floor was sticky. We didn't take our shoes off at all. We grabbed a hammock from our car and spread it over the bed, so we wouldn't have to touch it. There were no trash cans in the room at all, so we just left the trash on the counter. I also felt unsafe...there were quite a few noisy people and some shady looking people just hanging out in the parking lot.
We just wanted an economical hotel close to Dallas Love Field, but this place is worth like $5/night.
We did talk to management the next day to tell them about the terrible state of their property and they did give us a refund and only charged us half, but that is still way overpriced for what you get and it did not make up for the terrible experience.
Felt like I was in a drug house. 2 queen beds we were given 2 towels 1 washcloth 1 hand towel. No coffee pot, No alarm clock, no ice bucket. These pictures will speak for themselves. We were in a no smoking room and cigarette burns all over furniture. Found drug paraphernalia outside our door. Our room was 98.00 and was told nothing else available. However went to front desk for ice bucket (they didn't have one) and someone was paying 75.00 for a room in cash. Had to call front desk to figure out how to turn on shower. Then we had to push in steel rod for shower. Drugs were found in another persons room. That is in pictures man holding drugs in his hand. Bathtub was filthy. Picture of bag was our ice bucket. Also notice our nightstand with cigarette burns no clock and "Welcome to Wingate Inn" nightmare hotel was no other options due to OU vs Texas game. These should be the real pictures posted online not the pictures I saw when I booked this room.
The hotel was in very bad shape it needs to close down and finish reinivations my room by the door had a big chunk of the wall missing it was people walking around the hotel late night. It was just a horrible hotel me being a rewards remember would've never thought they would have a super 8 that looked like a super nono
Comfortable Beds and a Quiet room is the best I can say about this room. Paint peeling in the bathroom on the door, one cockroach in the tub, bed skirt not fitted right. Under window airconditioner was hard to adjust as the knobs were both unmarled and loose. In-room Coffee service not restocked until I asked. Stayed 2 nights, bathmat not replaced after 1st night. Tried breakfast first morning - admitedly got there 15 minutes before posted ending time - no coffee and stale bread for toast. Skipped Breakfast 2nd morning. Housekeeping very anxious for us to clear out before checkout. I expect more of Super 8 , did not get the value I expected - paid too much for quality of the room. Won't stay at this property again. Did not report problems to the desk clerk; not surprisingly the clerk did not ask "how was my stay".
