Me and my family loved staying here! It was the perfect size for all of us. And the staff was extremely nice. The game room was a must almost everyday for us. And the pool/hot tub every night. They also have a really nice beach area at the lake. And just tons of fun family activities for everyone.
Our 2-bedroom townhouse unit had a great layout, nice furnishings and overlooked the golf course. Staff was wonderful, friendly and quick to repair the things they could... back door didn't open - they replaced the knob set; wifi box needed a few re-boots; they couldn't fix the toilet that moved around since that's due to cracked tile. Appliances are dated but everything worked fine. Only real problem was that the A/C didn't cool the upstairs. Staff was nice enough to lend us a fan to blow cool air up there so we could sleep comfortably. Pool/hot tub are very nice; cornhole and putt-putt golf were fun to do. Nearby lake/fishing pier are nice. No luxury here... think your mom's nice 1970s home... but if you're not picky about things like that this was a good place to be.
This is a great area in Tennessee. It is secluded and quiet and the lake is wonderful for kids. The unit could have been cleaner. We rented a boat the one day and had so much fun. Pools are great. Not a lot of outdoor eating around. Wish there were more opportunities to eat outdoors. The Pour House is excellent and so is Cancun!!
The resort is an older resort but maintained well. There was a lot of things to do for us and the kids to keep busy throughout the week. It was nice sitting on the balcony watching the golfers go by as well. Having access to Lake Tansi was very nice and it had a beach to swim and cook out if you wanted. The amenities were free to use including pools, an indoor pool, a couple miniature golfing courses, beach and racquetball courts just to name a few things. It was about 15 minutes from town so it was a quiet, peaceful atmosphere which made it nice to get away from the big city and just kick back. I recommend this resort if you are not looking for a super fancy resort. Staff was nice to help with any concerns you may have.
Area is very nice, many activities, golf courses, state parks, waterfalls, beach, indoor and outdoor pools, boat rentals, fishing, gym, workout room, and game room. Our 2 units not so nice. Older units, could use updates to kitchen and bathrooms. One of our units not properly cleaned. Coffee grounds still in coffeemaker. Had spiders, spider webs and ant problems. Entered on ground level and went up steps to kitchen and living room and down steps to bedrooms. Ground level did open up to golf course on one side but was underground on other side. Just not so desirable. I'm sure many of the newer units had bedrooms on a second floor.
