I called the hotel with a special request for a hotel room and conference room for my son who attends Clemson and had an all day virtual job interview. Although there were less expensive options in the local area, Jessica was pleasant and helpful by offering me different options. We went ahead and booked our stay and my son had no issues. We have stayed at this hotel before so we already new it was clean with a professional staff. But it was my conversation with Jessica that nudged me to book the stay.
Spacious room with attractive funishings; great cooked-to-order breakfast; ideally located for Clemson University. Pleasant and helpful staff. Lots of (free) parking. Would highly recommend this property.
Stayed in this hotel last weekend. Hotel was very nice, room was clean, comfy and well decorated. Staff was excellent, maintained great attitude while hotel was fully booked and very busy. Returned to the lobby area for drinks and pizza after the game. Beer was cold, pizza was good (personal size) and we we’re pleasantly surprised!
We chose this hotel for the Texas A&M vs. Clemson football game. They did have a problem with overbooking but I was one of the lucky ones that was able to keep my room :) The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of at all times. A special shout out to Amy Jordan - this girl was AMAZING! She was engaging with each and every hotel guest, remembering everyone by name and genuinely expressing how appreciative she was were in Clemson and chose Marriott.
The manager of the property was very attentive as well and quick to address any concerns with positivity - so refreshing!
Thank you so much for our great visit, wish we would have won the football game but.....ha! Whoop and Gig ‘em!
We stayed here for a quick business trip to Clemson, and overall it was very nice. The rooms are nicely laid out, and are comfortable, and the bistro area downstairs was a nice commodity for our trip to be able to grab breakfast/late night food and drinks.
My only complaints were the first night I was there I didn't sleep well (Room 216) as my room was directly next to the elevator, and the sounds of the elevator hum could definitely be heard through the walls. Also, my shower head was loose, and not completely attached to the drywall (could use repairing). Lastly, for some reason, we could not get NBC to work in the hotel, which we missed the NFL kickoff game because of. Infact, their TV Channel selection is a little lacking.
Overall staff was great, place was clean. An enjoyable stay.
