Hotel staff very nice. The building is old and restaurant closed due to Covid. Door lock didn’t work, lightbulb out in room, air conditioner sounded like a jet starting up. It was ok probably would not stay there again.
Facility was clean and attractive, in general, but our first room had a non-functional toilet, and a bad smell in the room. Second room's door handle/lock mechanism didn't work properly, requiring Numerous tries to get the door open. Powdered eggs at breakfast are less than yummy. Not a bad over-all experience, but the initial difficulties with our rooms were quite annoying.
Things didn't work, ice machines, vending machines, and the exercise equipment did not work. Also our bath room had some thing black on the ceiling no fans in that room, o was hoping it was not mold. And the out let covers were about to come off.
This is quite a nice hotel. Modern rooms, with all the mod-cons (ncluding very good wi-fi). There's a nice restaurant bar, open every night but Sunday. The (indoor) pool area is like being in a botanical garden, with many plantings in the "pool lobby". Some rooms overlook the pool area - I didn't stay in one so I can't describe that.
The staff are very helpful, and there's plenty of parking around the hotel so you can park at an entrance nearest your room/elevator/whatever.
Prices are reasonable for this day and age.
The exterior of the hotel is a little weathered, don't let that put you off. Location near the highway is very convenient but not so close that you get a lot of noise.
Advertising HOT breakfast, was informed they incurred water damage so no hot breakfast. Should have been told in advance or room should have been discounted. The room had cobwebs and my husband killed a huge spider. The air-conditioning sounded like a freight train when it turned on. Plus side is the bartender on Friday night.
