Lovely place. We had a comfortable top floor room with balcony overlooking the road & nearby pretty town. Plenty of room for all our motorbike luggage, very comfy bed, nice breeze from the balcony door although there was some road noise. Parking for the bikes in a kind of car port was flat & easy. I have food intolerances & Christian provided soya milk as well as gluten free rolls & mini cakes. We were very well looked after & would definitely recommend this place.

The owner greeted us very friendly and showed us up to our room. We got our own parking spot that was reserved for us during the entire stay. The room is basic but clean. We had a room upstairs with a lovely balcony that gave us a view of the main street of the village. The stay was very lovely. We got a tourist pass that gave us discounts for many attractions in the region and some extra information in our own language. Breakfast is good and the hotel is decorated with personal artifacts which gives it just a bit extra. Central location in the village and easy to reach. Definitely a good place to stay!

If you want 5* frills, don't stay here. But if you're looking for a clean, perfectly adequate room at a great price, with breakfast included, this is the one for you. The owner answers emails promptly and booking is simple. The hotel is perfectly situated for the mountains around the Zugspitz and the Eibsee. There are a few bars and restaurants in the village. I sampled several and wasn't disappointed (particularly Chapeau). The breakfast is plentiful and fresh. I have no complaints. I don't know how they do it for the price. If I go back to the area, I will definitely stay here.

Small B&B located in a small and nice village with good room size and flowers at window . Not many amenity in room, no A/C, no fan, had to open window so it was warm both day and night, will be warmer in summer I guess. Our room was on the street side so it was noisy with vehicles passes at night, cloud not sleep early till late night. Breakfast was not many food to choose from, limited both variety and quality and all the same everyday. They sat table for each group of guests, so you have to sit where they wanted. Limited free parking in front of hotel that help saved some money. They gave us a card for free transportations to go around but we didn't use it because drove around by rental car was better. There were some shops, restaurants close to hotel. What it was good was this area wasn't busy tourist attraction so very peaceful with the view of mountains around even thought we could not see from our bedroom.

We wanted to stay in a little Bavarian village very close to nature. so we decided to stay in Grainau after a short stint in Garmisch. while we were looking for a hotel , we saw this little gem on booking.com. There were not many reviews of this B&B , so we were little skeptical. But this place is really wonderful. whether its hospitality, cleanliness, hygiene or food , everything is taken care of. There are two floors with few rooms. we were staying on top floor. Our room was clean, warm & with a balcony overlooking Zugspitze. Chirstian is very friendly person & hospitable. He helped us for Grainau card is an extra advantage when you stay here . Breakfast spread is quite good. I would recommend to all who want to stay away from hustle & bustle. Only thing I missed was adequate toiletries & if there is an option of cycle rental, it will be awsum.
