Stayed at this property during a very busy weekend in Springfield which meant the hotel was pretty full. Our room on the second floor was clean, quiet, and we encountered no issues. Check in/out was quick and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was satisfactory and there were plenty of options. Didn't use the pool but the gym was nice for a hotel this size and all machines were in good working order. Location is right off 65 which is convenient and its a straight easy shot to downtown and the MSU campus. I would stay here again and would recommend to others based upon my experience.
I haven’t used Greenstay before and highly recommend them I was looking at value for money.
This is certainly very nice place in Springfield to stay modern building spacious room I had a king size bed comfortable bathroom is spacious as well.
They have breakfast buffet which is really good quality.
They have a swimming pool outside and gym.
Hi, I stopped at the Greenstay in Springfield, MO for 1 night on my road trip from Phoenix, AZ to Quebec, Canada, and I'm glad I did !
The front desk were very professional and helpful. They quickly assigned me to my room, and as soon as I went in, I was amazed by the great look of it. I also appreciate that the bathroom was divided in two, with the powder station place situated outside of the actual toilet, bath and sink area. ( see my pictures )
The bed was really comfortable.
My only complain was the quality of their gym equipment. The treadmill was working fine, but the 2 bicycles machines aren't functional.
The breakfast was very good, better than what you will expect in that kind of hotel.
As soon as I enter the room, I was happily surprise by the quality of the furniture and the fact that everything was spotless, and such at a budget price ! The only negative aspect was the quality of the gym equipment : a couple of them were unusable.
Stayed one night and liked it, especially the roomy bathroom with separate area outside for grooming/makeup with countertop and seat. Our room had a larger mini refrigerator that we just put our entire mid sized cooler inside for keeping our food and drinks chilled. The beds were firmer texture, but not hard as a rock like some hotels have. I'm a side sleeper that with my own pillow fared well on sleep quality. The fitness center was surprisingly large and well equipped with a couple tables near the Tv for cooling back down. There are also two combo washer/dryer units for guest laundering in the fitness area, which is quite convenient for getting a workout while waiting for the clothes. The breakfast bar was decent although somewhat limited choices. At the room rate though, I considered it a great value. Main thing that was a negative was the noise level since it's right along a highway on the east side and a train track a block away on the west. I recommend you bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, although in my case I just used a pillow against my ears.
