Stayed here for 2 nights. Nice room. Walking distance to food and entertainment. Free breakfast was good. Will stay here again in the future. Would be good place to stop for the night on your way to grandmas house :)
We stayed at this Quality inn during a family trip on Nov 16. We utilized 2 separate rooms. The price was extremely competetive compared to other hotels in the area to the point I was concerned with possible quality. I went ahead and booked the rooms due to the current ratings of other reviewers that have stayed here. Once on the premise I was greated with a very nice front desk clerk who checked me in. We then went to the room and was very happy with the rooms and especially the cleanliness of the rooms. Actually, the hotel from top to bottom was very clean. I actually witnessed bedspreads and comforters being washed. As some reviews have stated, the rooms are a little small but I was ok with it. I much rather have a clean small room then a dirty large room. To be honest, there was plenty of room for us in the room. If I ever visit Joplin again, I will make sure that this Quality inn is at the top of my list.
A little tough to find as you turn west off Ridgeway (?), the main street, to a service road between 2 fast food /or other businesses- I can't remember. You can sort of see the sign and motel but you are turning onto a service drive not a true street.
This was the first motel (located among several next door ), on a thursday, that was over half booked. The other 6 we stayed at on our trip were more like 25% full .
We got a suite as some reviews said the rooms were small and the suite was less than $ 10 more. The room was huge with a full sofa sleeper. Very clean. Mattres was a little soft.
Would recommend .
Check in was easy and fast. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was clean. The room was very very very small. It would probably be okay if you are traveling alone. There was hardly any room for two people to move around. The bathroom and ourter area with the sink was also tiny.
Stayed here 9/24.
Just a quick sleep over on my way further south.
It's no frills but that's ok, I didn't need any frills. Check in was easy and fast, clerk was pleasant.
The hotel was very clean. My room was a tad small but it didn't matter, it was also spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Linens were nothing special but were more than adequate and the bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was perfect.
It was everything I needed for a short stay.
One drawback is it was extremely difficult to locate, it is nestled amongst a bunch of restaurants, gas stations and a grocery store, all of which are convenient after you find the hotel!
