Check in was nice, would have liked a room not on the first floor as could hear kids from party down the hall running around. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Close to restaurants, shopping and highway. Breakfast was good although pancake machine was out of order, should have more fruit options other then apples.

I came to this hotel because of its convenient location to the testing center I was to take my RN NCLEX at. My dad made the reservation for me and prepaid so all I had to do was show my ID for my room key. I approached the front desk to find Barry there greeting me. He is very welcoming. I requested a late check out and explained to him why I was there and he said the room I was to stay in wouldn’t be good for last minute studying. He switched me to a different room where it would be more quiet. He wished me a happy birthday because it happened to be on that day and I took my key and went to my room. My fiancé and I were pleasantly surprised with our room. We had a king suite with a jacuzzi tub. Phenomenal!! The room was very large, clean and welcoming. After checking out our room we headed down to look for the breakfast area and the pool. After doing that we again approached Barry at the front desk looking for a good local place to have dinner. He recommended a place that was close enough to walk to and even gave us coupons for free appetizers. Awesome again! He is good at his job. After dinner, which was great by the way, we enjoyed a relaxing evening in our room. The jacuzzi tub was so nice and the bed was crazy comfortable. We had a great nights sleep, woke up the next morning to a warm delicious breakfast. The woman working in the breakfast area was super nice and welcoming as well. She made some great food. I left shortly after to take my test, which I passed, and I give some credit to our lovely nights rest at the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the wonderful staff.

First, the good. The front desk attendant was very welcoming and friendly, and we checked in quickly. The breakfast was generous and had lots of variety. The cinnamon rolls did not disappoint! Now the not so good. The mattresses in our room were in sore need of replacing. My mattress cratered in the middle and I kept rolling in. The mattress on the foldout sofa was just awful. Thin, lumpy and dingy. Our 20 year old son slept on it, poorly. I was glad to see the volume dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, which is better for the environment than all those little disposable containers, but that plus was offset by the massive amounts of styrofoam. My total bill was around $200, which seemed way too high for bad mattresses.

I stayed there with my wife and 2 kids for Odyssey competition in MS university for 4 nights. Room and bed were clean and room service was good. Breakfast was nice. Location of the hotel was also good with stores and restaurant in walkable distance. There were Wifi, microwave and ironing board but no kitchen. But we were OK with that. Check in and check out was simple. It takes 10 to 15 mins to drive to MSU. Kids used the pool once. Our overall experience during the stay was nice.
