We were looking for a place that wasn't your regular hotel / motel. I looked online and found this place. I booked it months before we actually came here and once we came to check in, everything was ready for us and the check in process was pretty quick. We met the owners, Sherri and Steve while checking in, and they seemed very nice. They asked us a few times during our stay, if we needed anything to just ask. The cabin we rented was cabin 1 it's the closest to the water. it has 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen and bathroom. They have chairs out on the deck with a few tables that you can sit at and either eat or enjoy a few drinks. The cabin also has a small porch over looking the water with 4 chairs and a table, we sat out and played board games at night without getting eating up by the bugs. There is grills that guest can used and they have a community fire pit that people can sit at. The area itself seemed nice but a lot of things weren't open until the end of June and if they were open it was only on the weekends, which was kinda of a bummer. We really wanted to go on the cruise boat that they have next to the cabins but didn't open until the week after we left. It was pretty relaxing and the cabins were clean, the bed was comfy and they have everything you would need as far as utensils, pots and pans, glasses, etc.
Nice little cabins on Brandy Pond. Cabins have a porch but no comfortable chairs inside the cottage. There is no living room so you only have hard kitchen chair to sit on while inside. Watching TV is a bit of a challenge at night as you must lie in bed or sit on a hard chair..new owners the last couple years so nice improvements but not as courteous. The atmosphere is only as welcoming as the owners make it. Kindmof.get the feeling that they are a little snooty and micromanaging.
Spent a couple of nights upstairs in the 2 bedroom Guesthouse right before the 4th of July weekend. I wish we could have spent more there! It was close to everything we needed because my parents stay at the Brandy Pond Campground.
P.S. Sorry about leaving the AC on and the windows open, Steve!
We recently stayed at the Bayview Cabins in Naples for Labor Day Weekend. We thought it was perfect. Bayview Cabins is made up of 11 cabins from efficiencies to multiple bedroom cabins and one 'house' that has been converted into 3 individual units. We stayed in an efficiency cabin for three nights. The owner, Steve, was onsight and incredibly helpful, attentive and courteous. He answered any questions we had with a smile. The cabin we were in was incredibly clean! I mean not one speck of dust or cobweb anywhere, this is a cabin. The bed (we were in cabin 3) was king size and very comfortable. The cabin is fully stocked with towels, bedding, efficiency kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, plates, silverware, wine glasses and chairs we had a lakeside view and chairs on the porch. There is an incredible amount of lakeside dock for tying up your boat and/or taking a swim. There are adirondack chairs outside for viewing the sunset, picnic tables and grills that can be used. There is even a firepit if you would like to toast marshmallows. It was a wonderful quiet spot, within walking distance to many restaurants and a pleasant surprise find for our Labor day get away.
