This property seemed full for our 3 night stay (Fri-Mon) but it never felt crowded. There were quite a few kids in the pool, it seemed popular with families. The staff made us exit the pool and the pool area one afternoon due to a toddler using the pool as a toilet😐. They had to clean it and sanitize it so we had no access until the next day. We enjoyed the fire pits and heat lamps at night. We were celebrating ur anniversary & they had a congratulatory bottle of Cab for us when we arrived.
My room tip for future guests would be to either book the Signature Oceanfront room or the Deluxe Oceanview room. Do NOT book the Deluxe oceanfront room. It is a waste of money. Just spend $18 more per night & enjoy the lovely & spacious Signature Oceanfront room.
Or save $70 per night & book the deluxe oceanview room. The deluxe oceanfront ran $977 & had a great view (see pic) but was a small room & had no seating area other than 2 desk chairs. The room is almost identical to the oceanview room and which offers a nice view just farther back from the ocean.
They did a good job with breakfast given the Covid restrictions.
The seagulls are bold & guests should NOT feed them! One landed on our balcony rail a foot away from me when I was out there eating breakfast & resisted leaving! Ick, then there was bird poop on the rail and floor.
Our stay at SeaCrest was excellent, despite the foggy weather. Because of the restrictions placed upon the hotel by the government, the spas were closed, but the pool was available for use.
The SeaCrest is our favorite spot when we travel to this area.
We recently spent 3 nights here and had a great time. During COVID times, with rules and regulations changing constantly, it's sometimes difficult to figure out what you can and can't do at a property. For anyone planning on visiting: while you are in public spaces - the lobby checking in and out, walking around the grounds, in the elevators, etc. you must wear a mask. People were very respectful of that rule while we were there. The pool is open and people were were pretty good about sharing and keeping space between parties. There are fire pits scattered around the grounds of the property, those are all open and we used them almost every night. The free breakfast has turned continental - ok selection for a grab-and-go. Housekeeping can not enter your space but you could call the front desk for more toiletries/towels, etc. Great location, 24-hour beach access, .7 miles away from the pier - we walked into town a few times. Overall we had a great time!
Beautiful hotel and room. Great view of pool & ocean. Nice patios and decks to enjoy afternoon snacks & cocktails. Outdoor fire pits, bbq’s and pool area. Breakfast small but nice. Direct access to the beach below. Beautiful sunset.
The SeaCrest is beautiful and relaxing. We visit several times a year. The staff is exceptional! Joey, Bernie, Cassidy, Amanda, and Christina are professional and friendly. Housekeepers are friendly and always willing to help with extras. The hotel sits on a hill overlooking the meticulous landscape, pools, firepits, BBQ'ss and ocean.
I absolutely recommend the SeaCrest.
