We have stayed at the Orland Inn 2 times now. The first time was 3 years ago. They have large rooms with lots of space. There are several charging stations with both USB and outlets. There is a table and chairs. We had a large flat screen TV. Our bed was heavenly. I fell asleep almost instantly. The room smelled clean and not stale or stuffy.
Stayed two nights here for total of $176 tax included. Very nice room, clean. Near the freeway but we never heard any noise. Budget hotel at a great price. Bonus point for compassion. My friend heard a kitten crying, trapped in a drain under a manhole. When we reported this the girl in the office said they had already rescued 4 others earlier that day. She and the manager were able to use a pool scooper and a grabber to get the very young kitten out of danger. A former employee agreed to accept all the kittens and save them from the animal shelter.
This is an older motel set next to I-5. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and there is no cloying perfume that always sends my allergies into overdrive. The staff were very helpful. They even moved us to a corner room on request, to keep our nervous dog quieter. Breakfast consists of coffee, tea, and muffins. If you want more, drive one exit north and there are lots of options. While this is situated in a shopping area, the whole place closes down at night, so the only people there are the ones staying at the hotel. I'd definitely go back.
You get what you pay for. No coffee in room or hair dryer no breakfast but clean. People at front desk very friendly. Freeway noise not bad, good location if you need anything from store, Mexican restaurant really good
I stayed here with friends while on a rock collecting trip. The rooms were spacious and clean. Couple that with free WiFi and I was set. Freeway access is nearby, but I did not hear any noise in my room. There is ample parking and the Mexican restaurant next door is good. I will stay here again when in the area.
