We stayed here for 2 nights, great place, friendly owners and a nice welcome with a drink, we had a duplex room, all comfort present, only lesser point was that our room was not really soundproof (although earplugs available)
The breakfast has plenty of choice, fresh juice, there was a locked place for our bicycles and parking for our car. Plenty of bicycle routes around leaving right from the doorstep. Some good brasseries in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay !!
I received a very nice welcome and was allowed to leave my motorbike in a stable (no horses there at the time).
My room was very large and was on the ground floor, it had a settee , a comfy chair, tv with dutch , belgian and French channels.
A very large comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with shower AND bath (with bubbles) also very nice a separate toilet. And a minibar and safe.
Everything was spotless clean, and very quite. Aslo good wifi.
Breakfast was above average.
De Keyartmolen is in the middle of nowhere, but what a beautiful nowhere it is: trees, fields, water and a lovely old farm converted to a very comfortable B&B. Sonia, the owner, is charming, friendly, helpful and a fluent English-speaker; she and her husband also provide the most delicious breakfast anyone could want (my egg tasted as though it had been reluctantly surrendered by its parent about ten minutes prior to hitting the frying pan).
My rustically-themed room had a double bed, large bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate waterfall shower, loo in a small side room, and a seating area with a sofa and an armchair. This, according to my host, was the smallest room in the place...
All the rooms have flat-screen TV (cable), safe, mini-bar and free wifi; bathrooms come with high-quality toiletries and floffy towels. These are details one would expect from a good hotel, rather than a humble B&B. But then De Keyartmolen isn't humble; it's a genuine five-star.
Stayed here on a business trip in the area. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. There was a whirlpool bath , which was just fabulous after a long day. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and the setting idyllic. Would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.
I've been at the De Keyartmolen last week, and I must admit I would have never ended up there if it was for me: it's placed in a splendid neighborhood, full of trees, water and nice air, but absolutely in the middle of nowhere. I was in Belgium for business, and my agent has booked me there. At first, being in a place literally miles from any sign of civilization left me a bit puzzled, but just entering the spacious, light, beautifully furnished room, with its huge bathroom and attention to details, has made me thank him for the unusual booking.
The room is really generously spaced, and the overall feel of the place is of a house you actually would like to LIVE in.
Good breakfast in a nice room overlooking the green outside, nice welcome and overall really nice place to be.
