We holidayed at Inyoni Rock Cabanas, for 2 weeks, from Friday 27th January to Sunday 12th February. The complex is right next to the beach, and most of the units are sea-facing. Our ground floor, Number 4 unit, upstairs had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and balcony, whilst downstairs had a lounge/dining room, kitchen, guest toilet and patio. The cabana was well furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen, bed linen and bathroom towels. The cabanas were serviced every day except Sunday. The complex is fully secured with security guards, own parking, contains a large and pleasant braai/barbeque area, as well as an enclosed swimming pool area close to our unit. The 3km long golden sandy beach was perfect for long walks and sun tanning. Opposite the cabana complex is a salt water public pool, manned by life guards from 6am to 5pm. A small portion of the sea can also be swum in, as demarcated and protected by the life guards. 150 metres away is a Spur restaurant, as well as the Thirsty Whale pub/restaurant - where we ate frequently with it's reasonable priced food and drinks. There is also the small Splash water slide complex, perfect for kids. Being off-season, the cabana price was most reasonable, and the beach was mostly empty, possibly 50 people weekdays and 150 people weekends. The weather was wonderful, averaging 29C days and 21C nights. Although the complex is well administered by trustees, most of the units are individually owned, so the quality of furnishing and kitchen equipment are dependent on the owner. We had a wonderful holiday - without any complaint, and highly recommend this complex and area to tourists.
