I’m not sure if time of year or permanent, but while the hostel is still nice the atmosphere was no longer the same. Was going to stay a few days I left after one. The room was great, bed comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers
This is a very cheap place. No air conditioning, no power outlets to recharge your cell phones, tablets, etc. Room smells horrible. And the couch, linen and pillows all look worn out. We asked staff for a nice restaurant to eat and was trying to sell the hostel restaurant more than helping us with a better option.
This place was nice. The upstairs bar and hangout space were really cool with card tables, couches, and a billiards table, but the bar is pretty expensive. The rooms were ok, except they had two outlets for a room of 8 people. The free meals aren't spectacular, but free is free. The pool they advertise though is very dirty and murky, so not really usable.
Price for a reasonable privet room was high and they rent towels! Just up the street we found a real nice hotel and got a full hotel room for the same price. Shame on Pagoda for taking advantage of travelers
friendly owner, who is open for question regarding recommendations, trips and so on. room was clean, great rooftop with a nice view and bar. there's also a swimming pool. room could be noisy if it's near to the street. we'd highly recommend this place to stay there for a few nights
