I don't like to bury hotels. But, sometimes it's necesssary for the crew and the guests. Here are obvious facts :
- We arrived in a very dirty room. We are backpackers, we are used to dirty rooms but this one was terribly dirty. We asked to change the sheets and clean everything, which is embarrassing.
- The crew woke us up at midnight to ask if we wanted some tea. For real.
- The service team was in wonderland or Somewhere else than in the hotel. In our hall, there was some old matresses and sheets, stucked against a window, in dirt. Nobody cleaned nothing. Nothing. Our balcony and window have probably been cleaned one Time : the day of the hotel inauguration.
- The food was not good. Very fat and oily. The dishes were dirty. For real.
To us that's no Big deal, but if you look for quality, this 3 star commercial is Fake. There are much better 3 star service in the city.
To finish on a good point, Sunrise stands in a very quiet street.
Every time i go to delhi i go to hotel sunrise.
After so many time my staying became like home.
I get all respect from all the staff.
Bed is good.
Room also good.. they start changing the little things in the hotel..
So waiting the next time to come to a better sunrise.
The hotel door didnt work. The hotel was over priced. The bedsheets had oil stains on them. The hotel is very far from the metro. The A/C didnt work, the room had no windows and the walls were covered in water stains. Full of Indian business men and groups of men. Not good for female travellers. The staff did not care that the lock was broken. They gave me an even worse room after that, with holes in the wall.
One of my worst nightmares. BEDBUGS. What could be worse. Not to mention nonfunctional shower and taps, defunct wifi, dirty linen, broken tubs and toilet mugs,very poor room service etc, etc I can go on and on and on.
This hotel is close to lots of restaurants and we had a spacious room. Staff here though were unfriendly and not very helpful. Room was in average condition on check in, the bathroom wasn't very clean, and we had to request soap and toilet paper. When we settled our bill staff attempted to overcharge us.
