Definitely one of the more 'cost effective' hostels on island... Kitchen was good, relatively clean with loads of pots/pans to cook.
We stayed in a private room, with ensuite, (Room #15), size of room was okay, but moldy pillows, blocked toilet and brown water from the sink and shower (as the toilet flushed) meant we swiftly left after 2 nights.

We only stayed for one night but it was a good one. We hat a room with own bathroom. Was really clean. And the owner was really nice and gave uns some great recommendations for food and some stuff. Thanks for having us.

Situated a 5 min walk from the ferry terminal just off main street, with a supermarket and bakery just nearby. Locked secure property and we had a very friendly welcome. Non dorm room is basic but clean and  functional, either with a small downstairs courtyard outside, or some rooms have an upper veranda. Kitchen area was well stocked. Aircon efficient and good quality WiFi. Warm powerful shower. The room is no thrills, but overall excellent value.

We chose Surfari B&B in Bocas because of its inexpensive price, its closeness to the water taxis and because of the ratings.
The facility is clearly dated but it was clean. We had two rooms - both were tiny to say the least. Both rooms lacked any storage units such as dressers etc in favour of small wooden "cubby-holes" fixed to the walls. Of particular note was the lack of any water in either room from the hot water taps. Clearly, they were not connected. The air conditioning in one if our rooms was "locked" on 'high'.
The rooms were more akin to a hostel than that of a hotel - which was what we had booked. That it was identified as a B&B was somewhat of a surprise for there did not appear to be any breakfast. Instead, the kitchen area had refrigerators marked "For rooms xx ...". There was a coffee pot.
Finally, the congenial owner offered us a storage area for our bags should we leave after the checkout time. True, there was a 'broom-closet' area. But but was not locked.
In sum, a spartan but clean hostel with few amenities. But inexpensive and close to the water taxis.

The guys that welcomed us were so friendly and gave us great recommendations on places to see, eat and how to get to some beaches. The room had A/C and was very comfortable. The wifi worked great and the kitchen had all the items needed to cook full meals. The kitchen was very spacious. We had a great time here. Would highly recommend.
