Glamping!
We had a long day from Fes to Merzouga but arrived about an hour before sunset and immediately went by four wheel drive to our camp, before taking a camel ride to a high ridge in the dunes to watch the sunset. Dinner was prepared on site and was good. Wines were allowed. We then sat around a campfire while staff performed traditional Berber drumming 'songs'.
The bedroom tent was large with a substantial bed and hot shower area.

A night of exotic luxury!

Wonderful
I came with my eight-year old boy cause he wanted to experience the desert. At first I was a bit concerned cause it was my first time in Morocco and I am a woman travelling alone with a child. Edir and his staff welcomed us as family, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and give my son the best experience he could possibly have. The hotel is simple, but clean and honest! They serve great typical food and also try to fulfill your requirements if you have any (I’m vegetarian). They gave us a big room with bathroom, where we could leave our bags and where we could take a shower after the night in the desert. The day of the excursion we travelled on a dromedary for 1 hour to reach the camp. The place is made by white tents with comfortable beds and there are also toilets!! We saw the sunset, had a wonderful dinner and then we sat in circle playing the drums and singing. We could enjoy nature and the peace of the place. The day after we returned to the hotel where we were served a huge breakfast:) my son was enthusiastic and so was I !!! Highly recommended

the night in the desert of Merzouga
Worth it to stay in the private camp with 3 tents. Every detail has been considered in a remote destination including the camel ride at sunset, band after dinner, outdoor living room and personal attn. iddri u have done a terrific job here! Only tip is some signage at the meeting/transfer pts.
