Stopped for 1 night while travelling with world challenge. The hotel itself is well managed and you are dealt with professionally upon arrival and departure. The rooms are clean, equipped with electric fans, mosquito nets and en suite bathrooms. There’s a charming courtyard with seating which became very pleasant on the evening, and the hotel has its own pizza oven. Worth the stay
Clean decent hotel. The room are average size but spotlessly clean. The food is good and the prices ok.The service is above average. The perfect spot to have a stop over. Try the local wines, there is in that town a winery that was set up by monks although it has been taken over, it s a great wine, Le clos Malaza or something close to it...
Fair sized room. No lift or air conditioning but has a wall fan. Bed reasonably comfortable but lumpy foam pillows. Shower and toilet with white towels and toilet paper. Actually got a good night's sleep but noisy church bells nearby
the location of the hotel is very central. Our room was clean and had shower with warm water and a fan for when it gets too hot. There was no wifi. When we arrived the welcomed us with a cold drink which was nice!We had dinner at the restaurant and we were the only ones sitting there but the staff were happy to help us,pizza was good but we had expected meer Malagasy dishes.it was just a normal stay at the hotel for a night, nothing spectacular for the rest
This hotel was booked by our tour guide for 2 nights. I was shocked by all the children beggars that quickly surrounded our vehicles asking for money. My husband had to push one of them out of the way since he was blocking access to the hotel entrance. This is something we did not encounter anywhere else during our 18 day tour of Madagascar.
From the street the hotel does not look very appealing.
We were offered mango juice upon arrival and the porters took our bags to the rooms fairly fast.
There is a nice interior courtyard and good wifi at certain times. You have to ask for the code at reception.
Pizza was very good.
Room was clean but gloomy and the shower was not very pretty. Towels and sheets were ok and we had a fan. Not much privacy since rooms back to a corridor where people can walk by. Double bed was not very comfortable for two people.
This is ok for a one night stop but I would not hang around here very long. The town was not very appealing either and with all the homeless people around and beggars assaulting you at the door we did not feel like walking outside on our own.
I would not return to this hotel.
