Gym review highlights
Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the gym and indoor pool. The breakfast and 24-hour coffee was great. Since I was there for one month, the reception arranged for a microwave in my room which was much appreciated. Plenty of amenities for easy travel: iron, hair dryer, fridge, etc....
... the slight issues were resolved. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, and the hotel is not hard to find. Plenty of close restaurants, parks, and a gym. I choose not to use hotel provided gyms. Overall would recommend to stay at this hotel, and I book a room here whenever I come to Buffalo NY...

Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the gym and indoor pool. The breakfast and 24-hour coffee was great. Since I was there for one month, the reception arranged for a microwave in my room which was much appreciated. Plenty of amenities for easy travel: iron, hair dryer, fridge, etc. Most importantly to me: there was reliable and fast wifi with comfortable desk and chair. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a two week business trip. The first week, I had to get my key reset, and the shower was weak.. but got the job done. The second week in a different room and both of the slight issues were resolved. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, and the hotel is not hard to find. Plenty of close restaurants, parks, and a gym. I choose not to use hotel provided gyms. Overall would recommend to stay at this hotel, and I book a room here whenever I come to Buffalo NY for business.

I booked on the third and top floor. The roof was being worked on, so hammering/pounding was a constant from check-in (they allowed us to check in 3+ hours early) until dinnertime. The boom lift and workers were stationed right outside the window, so the hammerers above tossed the old shingles down past our window to the workers below who were scraping them up with metal shovels off the pavement. Between the crews above and below, their equipment (and backup beepers), and the work in progress it was VERY noisy. However, they did end the day around dinnertime and started late the next morning, so the noise did not disturb our sleep. The hall to our room had a very musty odor, but our room did not. It was clean and stocked. No microwave but fridge and coffee pot (Did not appear very clean: recommend rinsing). Front desk was polite. Wi-Fi does kick in and out which was an issue. The evening staff at the front desk assured me the Wi-Fi was fine, however, after multiple devices weren't connecting, nor other guests devices: we knew there was an issue. Small fitness center was adequate for no more than 3 people doing different stations but clean, and the pool was nice but small. Breakfast was good with a nice variety for continental breakfast. Easy to find location close to everything: UB across the street, Niagara Falls about 20-25 min away, Buffalo right nearby. Dining within walking distance.

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced due to our roofing renovation. The crew did start later in the morning and finished by dinner time everyday so as to not create too much of a disturbance for our guests, however, I am very sorry that your stay was noisy due to this process. I am happy to say that the roofing work has since been completed. Our WIFI is normally very fast and we do not experience many problems with it. I'm sorry if there was an issue during your stay that I was not aware of. I'm glad to know that you enjoyed our hot breakfast buffet, fitness room, pool, our amazing team members and our great location to the University at Buffalo and many restaurants in the area. We hope to see you again the next time your travels bring you to our area! Happy travels, Susan Carlin General Manager

I spent two nights here on businesss. The hotel is about a five minute drive from the airport, and is easy to reach. I had a king, non-smoking room that looked out over the parking lot. The view on the other side is another parking lot....this is not a picturesque setting, but it's convenient. The rooms were clean, but plan on seeing some 1980's decor. Breakfast is included, and featured bacon, eggs, waffles, hot/cold cereal, fresh fruit. bagels, toast, juice, coffee and tea. A nice breakfast area sits in front of the TV. Patrons and staff alike were friendly. There is a very small but sufficient gym if you want a treadmill workout. It's hotter than hades in there though, and the fan isn't sufficient to cool the room that's right next to the heated pool. There's a tv in the workout room. I spied home baked cookies at the front desk in the afternoon.Since I had to work in my room all day, I chose to not have housekeeping services, but they did check on me twice to make sure!
However, as I was working away, in burst three maintenance men. They apparently didn't know that the room was occupied, and scared the crap out of me. They were immediately polite and apologetic and had to repair the toilet. This took all of 20 minutes. They did clean up afterwards. The hotel was quiet, although I did hear some hallway discussions, they were not disruptive.

I got a great rate, and it was clean and sufficient for a business trip. Would recommend.

Thank you for taking a moment to review your stay. We did just complete a refresh of the entire hotel just last year, however, we are always doing more and always updating on an ongoing basis. I am sorry that my staff unexpectedly walked in on you for some maintenance repairs. Normally we either call the guest to let them know that maintenance would be in to do any repairs, I apologize that this did not happen and that you were taken by surprise. I'm glad that overall you had a good experience and that you would recommend our hotel to others, we appreciate that very much! Best regards, Susan Carlin General Manager
