You get what you pay for. This hotel is fine if you are on a budget and don't mind it not being great.
The staff are ok but as in other reviews they are not particularly happy people.
The lobby is grim, dirty sofas and ash trays, dirty glass windows throughout and a "gym" containing treadmill, cross trainer, bike all of which are rusty and don't seem to work, they would be better off not bothering.
Breakfast is ok, not much choice in comparison to other places.
As someone else mentioned the chairs in this place are so noisy, you hear them everywhere being dragged around. When it's busy it's very noisy. When its windy the doors rattle and slam loudly.
Rooms are a great size and balcony if you get a sea view room is nice. Balcony and seats are very dirty though. Room is clean enough but all needs updating. Bathrooms aren't great, they are big but floor is very slippy and our shower leaked everywhere and was constantly blocked, water eventually gets hot but then it's too hot.
Bathroom doors are terrible, they are swing shutters. We had children with us and they were hit in the face or back with the door a few times as they swing back and forth very hard.
There are no mattress protectors or pillow protectors which I find gross as in the night you find yourself just lying on the mattress, you know you are not the first and won't be the last 🤢
If you want to relax on the beach, there isn't one. They will tell you there is a beach in the mornings but there isn't. I have no idea how they managed to get a picture of a beach outside as in reality there are just crashing waves.
The pool is small and dirty, I stopped the kids going in after a few days as they got very sick and I had it confirmed by a doctor across the road that it was picked up from the pool. They obviously don't use the correct amount of chemicals which doesn't surprise me as they like to cut corners here. It's cost us 5 days of our holiday and an expensive trip to the doctors. Broken sun beds and tired looking cushions. There's holes in the concrete around the pool. It's not a nice place to be.
As someone else has mentioned we did see them trying to do the towel scam on someone, she had none of it but they were refusing to give her her passport until she paid money for the apparent dirty towels- just be aware all the towels have stains on, we were there a week and 99% of the towels or sheets had a stain.
Location is good there's lots of shops and places to eat. It's a taxi ride to the beach though.
We won't be back. If you do choose to risk it because it's cheap, just stay away from the pool and be warned they may well try and scam you for extra cash so get them to photocopy your passport and get it returned straight away at check in.
