I am writing this review as a decided to visit Turkey as part of my recuperation after undergoing 'cancer' treatment. I wanted a relaxing '7day short break' on my own with no stress. So I booked what looked like a delightful small resort hotel for an 'All inclusive' experience. I contacted the hotel prior to my arrival to check that there was full access for my disability scooter, which there was and I was assured that I would be looked after and the staff would do there very best to make my holiday a fantastic experience. As a disabled traveler, this was very reassuring.

On arrival at the resort it was early morning and I had a few problems with the room, but they were resolved very quickly by the night staff, however in the morning the day staff were excellent. The manager Ayşe assured me that anything I needed was not too much trouble.

The atmosphere was lovely and friendly, and the staff were like a family. Ayşe was incredibly helpful and very professional, she made sure that I had the most wonderful holiday.

Due to the 'pandemic' the meals were set rather than a buffet type which I was not expecting, but the staff catered for my specific dietary requirements despite the restrictions. The restuarant staff were really lovely and communicated well with me, even though my Turkish was very poor. The food was excellent as I was able to choose from the menu and had fresh fish and salad everyday. Very healthy eating.

I spent a lot of time in the luxury pool and in the gym and felt really relaxed as the majority of the time I had these facilities to myself which was bliss!

My week was made extra special as the Spa facilities were excellent. Seyda the Massues, helped me to relax with daily massage treatments and Turkish baths. Which helped my recovery so much so that when I returned to the UK my doctors could not believe the improvement in my health.

I loved the experience that much that I've booked another holiday, this time for 2 weeks at the same hotel in October 2020.

Highly recommended, fantastic facilities, clean, fresh and very friendly!

Stayed 1 night after EasyJet flight was cancelled. The photo does look lovely and the pool area is ok. The rooms are very small, balcony will fit one person standing, there was no door on the bathroom and decoration of the room required. I would not stay here again and if going to Gocek which is worth a visit then find somewhere else.

I’ve been traveling to this location searching for peaceful and calm relax for 4 nights-and here I found it! All fotos from internet are exactly like this place in real time. Everything is so green, cosy, a lot of flowers, cute decorations nearby pool and restaurant . By the way, there is a restaurant zone and there are also tables next to the clean blue pool, or upon trees shadows - so you are able to choose any seat you like. I changed all the time places to feel different while heaving breakfast/lunch and dinner. To say, the personal and stuff on reception and in a restaurant are all trying their best for me and other guests))) It is really important to feel carrying for your like a guest in every small detail. It was nice also when guys gave me my room two hours earlier than it supposed to be ‘cos I was after early morning flight - so needed to sleep. In the room there was everything you need-bath cosmetics, clean fluffy white towels, nice bad with clean sheets on it, teapot , water, tea and coffee, safe etc. Wi-fi was not so good as I needed but it was ok. It was the only minus I’ve found here.
Oh, almost forgot- for all guests free to use sauna/hammam ( Turkish bath ) at any time-just ask reception and they’ll prepare all for you.
Seashore is free to visit-but it is not next to the hotel. But there is a shuttle bus every two hours starting from 9 am and finishing 5 pm. Sea is clean, warm, sand is dark grey (volcanic)-no trash on it. And there is a lot of space for everyone-so you won’t feel disturbed by somebody next to you. Ideal as for one, also for romantic couples and families.
In general, I want to return here next year with my husband or advice my patents this place )))

Thank you, Gocek Lykia Hotel!!!

Don't confuse this place with somewhere you would actually want to stay in for a holiday.
With the summer season about to begin you would hope your room was not still in the middle of being decorated. Arrived hungry about 10 pm, the restaurant and bar were closed and no effort was made to provide a meal. Fortunately we did find one very good restaurant happy for our business about twenty minutes walk away at the marina.
Breakfast was terrible. No fresh fruit or juice of any kind despite the nearby orange groves. Pour the milk on your cereal and count the weevils as they float to the top. No thanks!
