I stayed 3N with family of 8 members at Marriott Suites-Pune in the month of March-'21.
A few initial follow-ups with house keeping notwithstanding, the overall experience was amazing. We had a wonderful 3BHK room with attached lawn and the room had pretty much all amenities (kitchenette, washing machine et al).
The food (breakfast and dinner) at Census were top notch, special mention for Rohit and Krish who attended to us. Service with a smile!
We had a spectacular time playing lawn tennis, squash, table tennis, carrom, darts, pool (all on-premises).
A special call-out to Imran-customer relations who helped coordinated our stay.
In terms of improvements, I would suggest a little more proactive housekeeping (but cannot be critical here given the pandemic situation). The attached lawn could do with more levelling and mowing to make it easy to walk.
Would I visit again-a definite Yes!
It was a marvellous experience. I was with my friends to celebrate my Birthday, Thank you team for making it a memorable one.
Firstly I would like to Thank you your Manager Megha from Front Desk who really helped me to arrange everything so perfectly and loved the room that was alloted.
The breakfast team Shubham and Gurpreet was equally superb who made a surprise arrangement for the Birthday cake. Thanks a lot.
Eager to visit soon!
"One of the best stay I have had at any hotel,it is a home away from home.Extremely hospitable and warm. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Akshay who has been exceptional in his service.".............
A wonderful experience! Senses maintains a high standard of hygeine and cleanliness and the staff follows all Covid 19 safety norms. The F&B Manager Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Vinod, young lady Vasty and Brijesh really took good care of us. Food was delicious and the entire team really pampered us . Truly an exhilarating afternoon! Bhaskar and his team are a great asset to Marriott Suites Pune. We are coming again for brunch on the first Sunday of April.
I normally don't write reviews but today I felt the need to show my disappointment. I am so disappointed with Marriott group. I thought it was an international standard hotel with good values ....
After lock down for the first time had visited Pune for the weekend and had called up the hotel to book the room and specifically asked if they have smoking room ... to which I was told that it's subject to availability but all rooms have balconies and you could smoke there.
At the time of check-in ( I was given a room on the smoking floor) my bags were screaned and of my and my friends bags mine was put aside by a guard and he directly took my bag to a hotel executive without even asking me and the executive came and told me they have found a sheesha ( water pipe) in my bag and I will not be allowed to take it in ... I should leave it with the hotel or in my car ... for the first time in my life I felt like a criminal or if I have committed a crime or something ... firstly sheesha is absolutely legal in india and if cigarettes or cigars are allowed.. I don't understand how this is not... second of all I thought the screening was to check for weapons and not personal belongings and thirdly it should have been mentioned to me at the time of booking that smoking means only cigarettes and it should be mentioned on their site .... I thought this was the most illegal use of screening machine and invasion into my privacy... I was most made to open my bag remove it infront of everyone...
Had I known about it I would have never ever booked Marriott and gone to another property
During these Corona times when one takes a holiday and hopes to enjoy the weekend .. this beginning to mine was a horrible one ..
This was my last ever trip to Marriott... thanks for a pathetic beginning after a horrible year ... will never book with Marriott group ever again ...
I don't intend to write bad of what was good... the location is gr8 ... rooms were nice the food was tasty and the dining staff brilliant but the scar that I have been left with at the check in is difficult to heal ...
The reason I am writing this is so that the Marriott group is more transparent and clear about its policies and so that no one else has to ever face it ...
