Set in a beautiful colonial building steps from major Cusco attractions, Llipimpac was a great stay overall. Aside from a few fixable errors that resulted in a rough start to our stay, Llipimpac exceeded all expectations.
Check-in was the one glitch in our experience at Llipimpac. After arriving, we were greeted warmly, but the management had somehow lost our request for two rooms close by, and instead had us in two rooms on opposite ends of the hotel, one of which was outside the physical gate to the hotel. Since we had children in our party, this was unacceptable, but after a little back-and-forth, the issue was remedied. This was the one big issue with our stay, but it was easily fixable, and I look forward to going back to see the improvement.
Both rooms we rented were spacious and beautiful. One room on the second floor had a nice balcony that overlooked the courtyard in front of the hotel. The rooms also featured desks and other places to put your things. One thing to note was that there is no elevator, so those requiring accessible accommodations will have to stick with rooms on the ground level. There were also some single steps throughout the hotel.
Though the hotel didn't have a dedicated restaurant, breakfast was provided and included in the room cost. Though on the small side, the breakfast was delicious.
Service was great, and hotel staff were able to tell you how to get almost anywhere. Staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our entire stay.
Though our party had a minor hiccup at the start of our stay, Llipimpac is still a place I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a centrally located, beautiful, inexpensive place to stay in Cusco.
