This hotel was absolutely amazing! It is in the best area in Valparaiso and equipped with a fabulous owner and a glorious view. The entire hotel feels brand new with its effortless modern vibe. The minimalist chic doesn't detract from the wall to wall windows. The ground floor boasts a private patio while the top room has a never ending view of the waterfront. The breakfast is fantastic too!
An amazing place located at Cerro Alegre, Valparaiso. I went with my girlfriend to stay a couple of days, and I just can say, that is well located, next to outstanding restaurants, and in the heart of the local "graffiti arts district"
Everything you need as a tourist, either gastronomically or sightseeing, I highly recommend to stay here.
We took the "basement" room (#1): Its huge, with it's own private patio. Yes, there are other rooms that have a view of the port, but for us, it was perfect a cozy. And justa having all the space, you could possibly stay for a week or more.
Run by her owner, Karen ("K" as we call her); she will answer all your questions, and provide all the information about what to do in Valparaiso, and give excellent recommendations about where to go, do, see and lastly eat.
I loved everything about this boutique hotel. The design is the perfect combination of contemporary and old, with warm colors and materials. It mirrors the city! I walked into the lobby to find jazz playing softly and the owner there to greet me. My room, with its floor to ceiling windows, overlooked the ocean and the hills of the city. The view, especially at night, was stunning. I had a balcony that ran the length of the room with seating, too. Unfortunately, when I was there it was too cold for me to use the balcony comfortably. There was a little kitchen area, to which my choice of breakfast - fresh and plentiful - was delivered every morning at the time I requested. There were dishes and utensils if I wanted to bring food in. The bathroom was spacious and modern and had everything I needed. I loved talking with the owner, who is multi-lingual. I was just sorry I couldn't stay longer. I highly recommend this hotel.
What can I say about this hotel other than WOW! One of the best places I've ever stayed. It's a small boutique hotel nestled in the hills of Valparaiso meaning ultimate privacy. The hotel lobby and room decor is so tasteful and beautiful. The highlight of our stay had to be the view / balcony. We stayed in the 'Alberta' room which had the most incredible views of the water and the hilltops (beautiful during the day and at night!). There was a huge balcony with adorable chairs for comfort! Perfect spot to watch the sun go down. Breakfast is included in the price - and this wasn't your ordinary breakfast. It was full room service, breakfast in bed. You fill out a form the night prior, offering about 5 options for different breakfast styles. You select the time you want to be served and meal of choice and then the staff brings it to your room in the morning. This was luxury done right. I felt like a VIP.
It was a great location - walking distance to many restaurants and shops (plus close to a late-night grocery store). We had a rental car and there was easy street parking in front of the hotel.
All of the staff was helpful and polite. The cleaning staff went above and beyond - hanging up any of our clothing that we had left strewn on the floor. We also met the owner of the hotel who was so lovely and spent time telling us about how the hotel came to be!
I would say that the only downside to this hotel is that there is no elevator. However, with that said the staff helped bring all of our bags upstairs without any hesitation.
Would DEFINITELY recommend staying here for a romantic getaway in Valparaiso. You can't beat this kind of value. I was truly so sad to be leaving this hotel!
A wonderful boutique hotel with large stunning rooms. Each room has a small but perfectly equipped kitchen area but breakfast is provided and brought to your room with a choice of 4 menus.
Karen could not have done more to to help offering advice with things to see, areas to visit and restaurants. Nothing better, after a day walking up and down hills and steps, to come back and sit on the balcony enjoying the amazing view.
We did not realise that there was not an elevator but as soon as we expressed our concern, we were offered a ground floor or first floor alternative.
Thank you Karen for your understanding, we will recommend your hotel to anyone.
