When I booked the Hotel, my expectations was a overnight stay during the transit considering its proximity to the city & with a decent price range.
I got pleasantly surprised on the Host's highly attentive approach, the amenities & mostly the food the prepared additionally to accommodate my request so promptly.
The Rooms are decent, good sizable, clean & with all basic amenities. They upgraded my room without any additional charges which was a great gesture, I liked the cleanliness of the room & the views as well.
The locations is also good, very close to the main city & main market area.
I will recommend this hotel for a budget friendly stay with a decent staying experiences.
I stayed two nights in this hotel during my back packing holidays to Oman. Rooms have very good size and it is very clean. Breakfast is quite simple but tasty local food. Split A/C units are very effective but I tried two rooms and neither had adjustable direction of flow. At one room A/C would be blowing straight on my head so I asked to change my room and was accommodated very quickly to another room where I was more comfortable.
Location is fine, close to Qurum beach (by car), shopping areas, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, etc. Room was spacious and nicely decorated (see picture) with comfortable king size bed. Very good breakfast (room service during Ramadan month).
I had booked this hotel for three nights but once i arrived there and saw the location and surroundings, i decided to leave next morning. The hotel is far from everything to see in Muscat and unless you have a car, it would not be a good choice.
My room was OK, but only with a window that gave on the window of another room...nothing else.
Most employees are nice and the manager is really nice. I had a bad experience with front desk staff when I needed a taxi to go to the Mutrah corniche. He was most unhelpful and borderline rude.
Overall average hotel, but far from everything.
I visited this hotel recently to enquire about a room. Two men sat behind the reception desk, one on the phone, one checking some figures. I took a seat opposite, smiled at them. After a couple of minutes Receptionist no.1 came off the phone. I smiled at him again. He ignored me. I sat there another minute. Receptionist no.2 finished adding up his figures. I smiled at him. He ignored me. Receptionists no.1 and no. 2 started talking to one another. I smiled at them one last time. They both ignored me, even though I had been sat there for five minutes by now, within about one foot of them both. Then I walked out of the hotel and went to stay somewhere in which I was not invisible.
