Direct Access to Red Sea hotel private beach or 3 minutes walk to separate beaches for only men and only women. The hotel has 3 separate hotels in the complex. We have stayed at the Palace and at Herod's Vitally's Spa and the palace. At the Palace, you get great open buffets all u can eat. Nice rooms with great views. At Vitally's it's an adult-only hotel. No cell phone's allowed in public areas. Jacuzzi in every room, unlimited access to the spa that has hydro pools, hot waterfalls (it's amazing) dry, and wet sauna no extra charge. You can choose to eat in the main dining hall at the Palace with its open buffets all u can eat, (the best day is Sunday) or at the very quiet and highly personalized service at the Lawernce Restaurant where you order from a menu, (not all you can eat but excellent food and great presentation with you every need carter to by the fabulous waiters and waitresses. Try to get admission to the lounge on the 10th floor.

Was great to be back to Eilat after 12 years!
Love the city but did not love the hotel. Hotel is ok but not worth the money snd definetly not a 5 star hotel.
- the service is not attentive at all, the staff is basically absent, there is not enough of staff
- no service in the swimming pool, get up and get your coffee all the way from the lobby
- no service in the breakfast room - go and fetch your own coffee or hunt for a waiter
- staff pretty rude all over, some exceptions but just a few
- lousy gym
- no concierge or guest relations personnel to be seen when you look for one
- the security personnel - a young woman in the main entrance of hotel behaved in a very rude manner to an other guest when he asked her directions to the near by supermarket. When I confronted her about her behaviour she started nagging about how she had had a night sift the night before and continued ”barking” like an idiot to me, a guest of the hotel! I got furious and complained immediately to the service manager
- the whole hotel just oudated and very tired!

Just a big, big dissapointment. Not worth the money - at all! We were looking to book the Dan hotel but missed the opportunity - unfortunately 😩 Will not be back to Herods again, that is for sure!

Room view is fabulous. The food is tasty. The staff is ok. The hotel is in 15 min walk from the mall and marina. But the biggest problem is that the facilities are too old!!! The room was ok but the bathroom!..Just a shame for a 5 star hotel.

Rooms were very noisy and not cleaned.

Service was terrible and staff walk led into our room without knocking!

When we called the operator to ask for a room change, they were rude and refused to take any action. When we spoke to the manager in the morning, the only response we got was they couldn’t do anything.

Never coming back. Do not book.

Dear Guest, We were sorry to learn that your stay was not a positive experience and that we did not meet your expectations. As the managment explained to you, the noises in the hotel was because of the New Year's Eve celebrations. Perhaps on a possible future visit to Eilat you would reconsider staying with us again and we could show you that we really can do better. Warm Regards, Sandra Nahoum Guest Relations Manager

Hey, the deluxe room has a pretty big bed I slept with two kids in it and it was fine. The sitting room has a sofa which can be opened. as far as I know you have to let the reservation know that you're arriving with a 9 year old child. They calculate the cost accordingly

1. No way to know in advance. You may send to the hotel asking for a very clean room, and in case upon arrival it will not as expected, call immediately to reception. 2. Ask the reservation in advance. I did it many times and usually it worked. 3. I have no idea but probably not 4. At least in my room I didn'l have.
