Take your pick: The rooms were old-fashioned and out of date, or they were quaint and charming. Or maybe a bit of both. For example, the room's door had an actual key (not electronic) that had to be turned and turned and turned to lock or unlock it.

The room was clean except for the dead cockroach on the floor and the lizard scurrying under the chaise lounge.

Tasty breakfast in a pleasant attractive area.

Located a several minute walk from the big Aeon Mall, a remarkably modern shopping center that seemed out of place in this ancient city. It had everything including the charging cable I needed.

Dear 828TJA, Thank you very much for reviewing us on Tripadvisor. As we have looked into the issue you raised, we have found out that there was a small construction close to our property so that such insects were invisibly creeping around from that site. However, we are sharing this issue with our team in order to be more attentive to such unexpected happen. Best regards, Kiry Sour (Mr.) Front Office Manager

I was on a 19 day tour and this hotel was unfortunately a bit disappointing when compared to the other two I had stayed in so far for this trip. I stayed for 2 nights in a room on the 3rd floor on the street side and while the balcony was really nice, it was noisy next to the busy street. The door to the balcony also had space around it and you could see to the outside, so I was a bit worried about bugs and safety. The room was dated overall and bed was hard, which aren't big issues for me, but the washroom didn't seem to have been cleaned well, so I did have concerns about the overall cleanliness of the room and linens. In addition, the location isn't all that convenient, particularly for tourists who like to walk (ie you can walk, but it's a 20 plus min walk from many thing and you'll spend $3-4 US for a tuk tuk each way if you opt not to walk).

The one thing that was truly excellent is that you can order off the dim sum menu for your included breakfast and the dim sum was amazing...some of the best I've had. The menu, which you sometimes need to ask for, also included noodle soups, fresh juices and lattes. The breakfast buffet, without the side menu, is decent and you can get eggs fresh prepared. Overall, if you're on a budget, you're a fan of dim sum and get a great deal, then it's decent, but otherwise it's worth passing on as a tourist. As a frequent traveller and avid Tripadvisor user, I'd suggest the 4/5 rating is high.

Dear idreamoftravel, Thank you for reviewing us on Tripadvisor. We understand your worry about bugs and safety on the balcony. As we always spot-check all arrival rooms for cleanliness, particularly bugs or insects, we always make sure that there has never had those things happen. Moreover, we make deep pesticide spray the whole property twice a week as we care about our guest's health. Once again, thank you for your feedback. Your feedback really helps us improve awareness and service. Best regards, Kiry Sour (Mr.) Font Office Manager

Not the kind of stay I was expecting. When I had *visitors* inside the room.

But I can't expect much.

But the hotel had fantastic restaurants - Yi Sang Chinese Rest which saw many diners.

Neaby:
- 5mins walk to nearby AEON SHOPPING CENTRE
- 5 MINS walk to nearby roadside eateries and massage shops(clean)

This hotel is convenient to the Aeon Mall, about a 5 minute walk away. The lobby has a spillover of tables from the restaurant where breakfast is served. The rooms were large and clean. The staff was helpful and very polite.

The room was generously large with a very comfortable bed and sate. The bath was equally well appointed and roomy. We stayed a few days and found each day the room was clean and comfortable. There is an outdoor balcony on the 4th or 5th floor we found used to relax in the evening. The restaurant offered delicious Chinese food.
The lobby is small and crowded with tables used by bar patrons. This did cause some crowding and a lost of one star.
