In the calm and charming Kasbah of Tanger, this heartwarming house made us feel all the magic we were looking for, entering a world of distant athmospheres. Our room was like a little castle, and there was all one can wish, even some delicious cakes for a midnight treat. The white terrace on the sea has unique views, there we enjoyed tea with traditional honey and sesame cookies, served with style, and it was perfect relax. The staff was extremely kind and professional, always ready for any request. Fresh flowers and petals were a signature feature. A colourful and multiflavoured breakfast, to appreciate all the specialties of spanish and moroccan delights in one take, with mostly homemade products, was the final surprise. Truly, an experience to remember.

The property is a historic road and is decorated fantastically. The staff is all incredibly kind and attentive. The home is beautiful and well maintained and cared for. The cleaning staff's attention to detail is spectacular. We stayed in the rooftop suite, with the private terrace, where breakfast is served to you from 830-1030. Breakfast is fantastic. There are several stairs to climb and no elevator for those with mobility issues. There are public terraces for the hotel guests as well. The property is at the top of the kasbah so there will be a lot of uphill climbing to get home. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night at this beautiful spot.
We stayed in the top room with patio and absolutely amazing views.
Served breakfast in the am which was unbelievable.
The hosts and folks who worked there couldn’t be more helpful and gracious.
Entire place is magical and worth the extra few dollars to stay in top suite with private patio.
Truly memorable!

We were on the rooftop in the room called Charf. The room was BEAUTIFUL and the view, AMAZING. The breakfasts and dinners super yummy! The staff, Nadia, Hajar, Ismail... were extremely nice and welcoming! They offered us tea and little Moroccan cakes when we arrived. The whole riad blew our mind. Every corner is very well decorated: it was so pretty and cosy. If we have the occasion, we will come back to this beautiful appeasing place and for sure, we will recommend it to our relatives.

Dar Sultan is located in a very nice part of the Kasbah, it is close to the museum which is a quiet neighborhood. The house is very beautifully decorated with great taste and it has an authentic atmosphere. We stayed in the room at the top of the house, with a private terrace and incredible views on Tanger. The very best you can wish for!
The hospitality is unsurpassed! The staff is most welcoming for people of all religions and backgrounds. And they do everything to make you feel at home and be happy while you are there! Really very special! Breakfast is great, and everyday a bit different. On request they may cook for you an evening meal, and that was truly great. We enjoyed it so much! Thank you very much!
Dar Sultan by itself already justifies a visit to Tanger!
