My wife and I recently came into town for business. We were asked to be a part of a contingent from Wisconsin representing the broadcast industry. We got into town and had the night to ourselves without official business. From the outstanding welcome at the front desk to the comfort of the room, to the free apps and drinks, it was a tremendous start to our trip. And the service didn't stop there. Everyone was fantastic during our three-day stay and we will definitely be back. 6 stars on a scale of 1-5!

I wasn’t expecting such a large room.. basic room has sleeper couch, big kitchen, desk area, dressing room... and of course a bed and bathroom. Everything is new. Comfortable, new, basic.

The squeeze bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower didn’t bother me. Economical and they smelled nice.

Staff was all super friendly and helpful, starting at the valet. Reception was also quite friendly and efficient.

Room was quiet despite being close to elevator. Hotel is 1/2 block to stadium, Starbucks across the street.

Decided to use my credit card perk and visit DC. Choose this hotel due to location and amenities.

Got to check in early. Place was bigger than we expected. Nice size kitchen. Has a living room area and 2 TVs!

The location is closed to everything. We did park in the very secured garage but Ubered everywhere.

Will use free night next year at the same place.

The room was very spacious, with a living room / kitchen / dining counter in one room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom had a real door so it could be closed off if someone were busy in the living room. The space was bright and pleasant, a very nice space.
The kitchen was fully equipped with appliances and a few, but adequate, pieces of cookware.
The bedding was comfortable, a bit softer than I like, but there were good reading lights and mains outlets on each side of the bed.
The living area’s desk had two lamps, two mains outlets and two USB charge points. There was a handy little shelf next to the entry door with four mains outlets and two USB charge points, very useful.
The bathroom was good, with bright lighting. The toilet paper was eco but extremely thin - if you have to use 3x as much to do the job, it is not really all that eco. The shower was nice but not at all eco, with a fixed spray head on the wall and an all full force- or- nothing control valve. When are US hotels going to wake up and offer a wand and a volume control so we can direct a lower volume spray and not waste so much water?
Likewise, the breakfast was not at all eco, everything but the salt shaker was use- once- and throw away. The food was good, but eating with paper plates and plastic cutlery is not something that should happen in a $350 per night hotel.
The location has lots of restaurants and a metro station nearby.

The Marriott has many hotels in the DC area. This Residence Inn is one of their newest and very affordable. It is close to attractions and the metro is just one block away. Staff is very professional and courteous. You will love their complimentary breakfast and their RI happy hour is a nice surprise.

The rooms are functional as Residence Inns as each room has it own kitchen/utensils and all of the equipment is modern and up to date.
