The staff is helpful and kind, the rooms are ok but a Littlebit outdated. Missing hangers for outer clouths and an iron.
Breakfast is ok. WiFi is unstable and hard too cover the room.
Parking is only provided in the "abandoned" shoppingmal but with rabate tickets!
I stayed 2 nights, a Sunday and Monday (July 9 and 10, 2017), had a single room. The room was nice, the only negative was that the window didn't open and I am a fan of fresh air. There is a large fountain nearby (Potop fontanny / Deluge Fountain), The restaurant was excellent, however when I was there there was only one other guest. My food was excellent; had shrimp pappardelle, a trio of crème brûlée and a "żubrówka z sokiem jabłkowym" (Polish vodka with apple juice). The meal cost 50 zlotych, less than $15.00 USD. Right on the street by the villa is an ice cream cafe with rather long lines, they served the most delicious ice cream I have ever had, called "Bydgoskie". Highly recommend the Villa, its restaurant, and the location.
This is a fabulous little renovated seven bedroom on a quiet alley off the Main Street. Rooms one and seven overlook a lovely park and small lake.
It is incredibly clean and friendly. I hate to leave.
There is a great restaurant adjoining and in the summer an outdoor dining area over the lake. If you like boutique hotels this is a must while here.
Very few of the hotels where I've been - and I've been in many - offer the quality of hospitality of this B&B. The room where I stayed (seemingly there was half a dozen more) was furnished with flawless taste and much personality. The bathroom was amazing, with the most versatile shower I've ever seen. Breakfast was rich and varied, even the girl at the reception desk was professional and friendly. I was alone in the B&B, and even though Bydgoszcz deserves little more than an hour's walk, I've planned to go there again with my wife just to sleep at Secesja!
Stayed here for 3 nights booked through their own website at cost of £140 with breakfast .The Villa has just 8 rooms available ,we went for a superior room which has a balcony overlooking park .The villa is Sunning inside and rooms were lovely and Spotlessly clean , this villa has a very expensive feel to it but it actually cheap to book for what you get .
Theres a sports bar just a minutes walk from it which we tried and loved the bar staff and locals were really friendly. The main town square is just a two minute walk from the villa .Could not fault this in any way .So much so this is the first time i have given anywhere i stayed a 5 rating !
