On arrival fund old food in the cabinet. AC did not work in all rooms we stay. The pool for the guests is closed due to outside reservation. Sauna closed and not working. Breakfast is the same every day. Side orders not allowed. Restaurant and bar closing at 10 PM.
I will give this property 2 stars. For the service provided to expensive.
I have been loged a couple of times in the hotel, traveling for business purpose. Very good location, easy to find comming from the Krakow Airport motorway, large, safe, parking place, excelent breakfast. The swimming pool and sauna, available for free, for the guests. Very nice, attractive soroundings, with a lake, running piste, wild life.
2 nights spent in that hotel
Wellness ?... so so
Swimming pool small
Fitness room really small
Food in restaurant not on right quality
Wines served in glass really poor
Long waiting time in restaurant
Very disappointing experience staying at this place, quite strange and old fashioned interior, bathrooms designed for differently abled people. They provide pool but for whole week full time occupied by aerobic classes. Extremely poor quality food with no quantity, I hardly had 2 times in 2 weeks. Though Staff was nice but they also seems to had no knowledge about city.
First impressions of the hotel were good, however the staff at reception made you feel like a nuisance whenever you had to ask for something.
Room was ok but not five star, no windows in the room that could be opened to let fresh air in. Air con unit in room looked dirty.
Asked at reception if it would be possible to have some means of making a hot drink in the room and all I got was a "we will look in to it". After three days a kettle appeared but no cup or spoon or coffee or tea. Asked again at reception if a cup and some tea or coffee could be provided, all I got was "we will see".
Breakfast was very poor. There was just scrambled eggs with small pieces of sausages. I asked if there was any bacon and their answer was "unfortunately no" and ut was the same answer every morning. Coffee machine at breakfast allways breaking down, and tge machine looked like a domestic type rather than one you would see in a 5 star hotel.
I used the restaurant in the hotel only twice and the food was definitely not five star. At the end of a meal I asked for coffee and i was told by the head waiter that the coffee machine had been turned off...
Hotel facilities wise, the swimming pool looks like it's used by the local swimming clubs in the evenings.
When checking out of the hotel after spending a considerable amount of money there, I queried my bill about a charge of 27 zlotys and was told it was for the kettle and two tea bags! Fortunately because the reception was very busy they did not want a scene, and I did not have to pay the 27 zlotys.
Hotel Piramida might think that it's a 5 star hotel but it is anything but.
