Stayed 5 days. Apartment it’s self if clean would be amazing but......the furniture and cleanliness are a joke. Firstly we was told there was a sofa bed , well there was but it was missing the mattress and the slats were taped together !! U couldn’t sit on it as u just sank into the sofa !! Then the bedding has fresh blood staines and fresh make up on !! On booking I explained I have poor mobility in which they said I’d have to walk up a few steps which is ok but there was at least 25 steps. Then they didn’t inform me that to get the breakfast we paid for each day I would have to walk up and down another 2 flights of stairs!!! That’s me now crippled and un Abel to walk for the rest of the day!! The breakfast room u couldn’t swing a cat in. A few tables packed in a to a box room. Always packed. Had to get up at 6am everyday just to be able to get a seat as I couldn’t stand and wait for a table. Food though was good but that’s if u can get to it as only a tiny space due to tables being right next to the food. No room to manoeuvre, then knowing I have a disability, expecting a shower as listed. I find a sunken bath 3 foot down with a shower head over the bath. Bearing in mind getting in not so bad it’s getting stuck not getting out again. No shower curtain so when showing the water sprays all over the tiled floor causing floods. So how am I meant to get out safely while floor is flooded. Not to mention my young children. No microwave, toaster or washing machine as listed ! Had no clean clothes as was going to wash there due to only taking hand luggage . Then there’s the filth please just see the pictures. Slime gunk and all sorts . The sink in the toilet and the bath/shower has pink mold the most dangerous. Hasn’t be cleaned in months !! White socks were black in ten minutes. Then there’s the noise from the restaurant down stairs. Crates of empty bottles being thrown into a big bin constantly. Great location and great potential but some serious problems. None of us could sit in the lounge due to the sofa being so bad to sit on. When I reported the problems all I got was some funny looks not even an apology. Didn’t have the option to move somewhere else sadly

We pre arranged the transport with P&J which cost 100PLN around £20 for half hour journey which we thought was good value.

The driver met us in arrivals and was very nice. He told us about the local area and was helpful with good things to do. He told us what was around as he drove.

We arrived at the reception, we checked in early, bonus! But they tried to charge us twice. When we said it was already paid for online they checked and all was well. We were shown to our apartment. Apartment 44 above the reception. Lots of flights of stairs and no lift! So not very child friendly or disabled friendly but did us.

The room was ok as a base which is all you really need it for. Somewhere to sleep and shower. However if you were planning to cook you’d have very little chance of making a good meal with the limited facilities.
Overall cleanliness was ok we did feel it was a bit grubby. It was right in the centre so perfect for accessing places. It did remind me a little of our local shopping town centre. There isn’t much more to say about the apartment as nothing really impressive was there. We weren’t overly impressed by the tiny little window that unless your 6ft+ you can’t see out of.

My father and his family stayed with P&J also. They were in a different location to us, only a short 5 minute walk. Their apartment was very large they had a good kitchen with dishwasher microwave and good cooking facilities. They had a separate living area and an upstairs too! We were shocked at their space as they paid the same as us and got much nicer accommodation.

We booked our journey back to the airport, on the way back the driver was telling us how much trouble ‘English’ groups are and if they see more than 2 people that aren’t a family they automatically presume there will be trouble and there will be damage to their apartments. He told us that people punch holes in doors etc... it saddened us to think the few drunken trouble makers tar the English as a bunch of hooligans.

We found around Krakow square that the staff in shops and restaurants were not overly friendly as soon as they heard us speak English to each other. But we weren’t there to make friends just to see the city sights which we did.

Overall from our apartment I’d say if you want a basic base then P&J is ok.

3 nite stay just off the main square.taxi from airport left us at reception you mite be advised to get the taxi to wait for you to check in as some of the apartments are a little bit hard to find.ours was 10 min walk but man in recpt walked us to app. photoes that are booking .com are not what your room looks like 4 doors to get tru to appt but after a few trips in and out its managable. room was ok furniture a little dated but everething clean and tidy.stayed over a small spar shop witch was handy. overall room was good value for what we paid.staff very helpful booked all our trips, and got us a taxi from our appt at 9 in morn and the taxi driver takes your room keys off you. would likely stay again if in krakow.tip 3 nites is not enough if you want to do the tours

Insted of spacious, renovated apartment, we got shabby flat without enough space for 7 people. Place looked definitely different than in description, we didn't get promised furniture (table, microwave, dinnerware for all of us). After pointing out these defects service stared to be abrupt ant not professional. Strongly not reccomend.

We had a two bedroom apartment in the Old Town which was basic but good value for the price. We did not realise from the web site that the apartments are situated in different places in Kraków. We thought that they were at the address given on the web site. If you want to be in the Old Town - request this when you book. The apartment that we were originally to be allocated was outside the Old Town but fortunately another was available in the Old Town which we preferred.
Booking was straightforward and the staff were helpful and walked us to our apartment from the reception/office.
