This hotel is a scam!

Don't come here, avoid at all cost.

I booked a accessable room for two nights, I left after the first.

The hotel is not 4 stars, it's more like 2 stars.

The carpet makes my wheelchair sink - clearly not wheelchair accessible.o

The bathroom is small and has tilted floors that make it a mission to use.

The staff didn't even refund me for my nights stay - for the amount of money they charged me - this is definitely a scam.

Like I said, avoid this hotel at all cost, they'll do anything to steal from you.

Google and TripAdvisor should be sued they even allow these morons on their platform.

Staying in a corner suite, the space was comfortable, tidy and great to have a microwave, hob, and fridge.

Unfortunately the noise from the street below makes for a less-than-restful experience. This might be improved by having double glazing on the windows. As it is, the windows let in cold air from outside

Exactly what I needed after doing a 4 day great walk!... The beds were incredibly comfy, the food was delicious and the staff were so eager to make sure your stay was perfect.

The room came with all the facilities I needed, I really couldn't have wished for anymore!

Highly recommend.

We stayed in over 20 hotels / guest houses / self catering places on our trip to NZ and this hotel rated in the top 3 during our time there. Centrally located with easy access to plenty of eating places and points of interest. Our room was comfortably furnished and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with valet parking available. The breakfasts were excellent, we arrived at breakfast quite late on our second morning but nothing was too much trouble.

Located in the town it is very convenient. We stayed some 5 days to explore the region.
We had a suite with generous size rooms and a kitchenette. There is parking.
Very comfortable and clean. The fittings and decor are a bit dated.
There were unusual Restaurant arrangements with the main dining room closed on certain nights with the alternative a specialist Japanese restaurant ( not everyone’s choice). In addition we were unable to get a table in the main restaurant on one evening at an acceptable time due to a group who arrived by coach.
The bar did not open until mid afternoon.
However, there are several very good restaurants within easy walking distance.
