We recently stayed at Radfords for a few nights while in New Zealand. You would be crazy not to stay here! Kerri is so nice and so helpful and we loved staying there. Our room was soooo clean and so cozy. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have such a great view. It’s walking distance to town and has laundry available if you need to wash anything! We loved the location in order to explore Fiordland and Milford Sound. We were so sad to leave Radfords because it was such a nice experience and we already have told several people they must stay there when they visit. I highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful stay at Radfords in a beautiful room, which was well appointed, with a perfect view of the lake. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hosts were wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Would definitely stay again.

Pleasant hotel/motel style accommodation. Nice easy access to the lake, and walking distance to the Main Street. Rooms are well fitted with good quality mattresses and linen. A good selection of TV channels. Good heating in each room. Kitchen is small but workable.

Attention to detail second to none, the liitle added touches e.g. chocolates, aromotherapy soap on pillows etc just georgeous. Make sure though that you book a top floor, closest to lakeview room, ask that you ensure to get views of lake., we did & were not dissappointed. Great knowledge of Milford & the area surrounds, superb gardens, this property is immaculate. Great breakfast also.

I booked this hotel 9 months in advance and did lots of research. Te Anau is a small town so finding information should not be difficult. However, the owners are local and they have local knowledge and advice that was vital to our stay in the area. Kerri patiently and promptly answered all my emails and when I finally arrived I felt like I was meeting an old friend. The room was very nice and the kitchenette was very handy. I was not planning on making breakfast since the Sandfly had such wonderful breakfasts but some mornings we departed before the Sandfly even opened so the kitchenette was a lifesaver. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms on the upper level have a view and maybe even from the lower level but I did not check.
