We are please we met all your expectations that means alot to us as managers plus to our staff as well. We work hard on keeping our rooms decorated and up to a good level as budget allows us too but with our new Kiwiana feel to the room they are looking great. 2 bedroom apartment is large enough for a good number of people 4-6 fit in fine with space to move and seating for all. Thanks for the review

Such a quiet but convenient motel. The lake walk access is across the road, a few seconds and you are at the lake, turn left for DOC and the bird sanctuary (approx 10 min walk) or right to get to the town centre. Clean, comfortable room with a lovely bed, heat pump, kitchen facilities-everything you could need. Free wifi. Outside areas to enjoy the peace, bbq, birdlife and a wee garden to pick some herbs or vege for your dinner. Trampoline and swing for the children.
The staff were lovely, going out of their way to make my trip comfortable and easy.
Obvious attempts to be as sustainable as possible, awesome to see.
100% reccomend this motel, can't wait to go back.

Well thank you for an outstanding review that covers so much about the Motel and what it offers including the playground, BBQ area and our lovely gardens that bring in the bird life you get to sit and listen too because it is so quiet and peaceful to stay. Heat pumps / AirCon is not yet available in all our apartments but we are working on it as a more economical way to heat and cool the rooms but we will keep moving forward with them as budget allows same for the room decorating too is always ongoing. If you leave here with great memories of you stay that is all we ask We do hope you will return to see us again one day Take care

This may look like a dated Kiwi motel from the outside but don't be fooled. Our room had been recently renovated and offered all that you would expect from any modern accommodation. Kitchen, bathroom and main room had all been updated. The bed was comfortable, water warm and plentiful, kitchen had everything we needed, heater kept us toasty and it was whisper quiet.
The proprietress greeted us warmly, offered useful suggestions and made us feel welcome.

Great to read you lovely review and thank you for taking the time to give us one. Yes our Motel was built in about 1973 from the outside still has the retro character but the inside is now has a modern feel we are slowly getting it to the way we want it with a real Kiwiana feel but comfortable and cosy. Most of the beds have been replace so lovely nice medium hospitality beds now making a huge difference. Heating is something we are working on along with the owner to slowly put heatpump/aircon into all the rooms along with gas hot water but this can only be done as money allows. Take care and thank you for you stay with us at Aden Motel

This is such a lovely review on our Motel and we appreciate when our guests take the time to give us a review. Please you found everything you needed or required at our Motel as we do listen to our guests and try to provide what is required while they stay. Winter time we get the rooms warm for our guests to arrive to as even I had to arrive at a room and no heating going and we know there is a bigger cost of running heating before guests arrive but its still nicer and gives you a lovely feeling. thanks so much

We wanted 2 bedroom for 3 nights. 2 bedroom units were booked so Irene gave us a 3 bedroom stand-alone for the same price. Beautifully presented, completely equipped and spotlessly clean -- perfect!! Irene and Linda were extremely friendly and helpful, with a good dose of humour thrown in. Would definitely stay there again

Hello Donna well yes you have picked the best cruise Fiordland has to offer Doubtful Sound is by far the best and then do a drive to Milford Sound as the road is the best part of Milford Sound to be honest. I don't think you would regret the price you pay for Doubtful Sound over night cruise. Yes we can store you car plus any extra bags for you that is all part of the service we provide as the bus will pick you up from the Motel and bring you back again. We look forward to seeing your booking
