We stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate a birthday and Wedd Ann. It couldn't of been more perfect for both occassions.
It was great to have the microwave and oven to cook with and all the equipment needed, plus a full size fridge/freezer. Why go out when we had the perfect venue with gas fire and fabulous views from our villa looking over lake Wakatipu and not have to go out and find a car park and wait in line to be seated at a restaurant.
The sunrises were amazing from our upstairs private bedroom and bathroom. We chose the 2 bdrm option with the 3rd bdrm locked off, but still had 2 full bathrooms, at a reduced rate.
The only thing we found a bit annoying was having no downstairs toilet and having to go upstairs all the time when nature called. A small price to pay.
We have stayed else where in Queenstown over the years, but this will be our forever rental when coming to Queenstown from now on.
The Heritage hotel is just across the road and is not expensive to dine at with 2 course meal deals
Get a villa with lake view, you won't be dissapointed.
We rented this villa for six days back in May 2021. I walked in, and said, "I never want to leave." The apartment is impeccable, perfectly laid out with everything we needed, comfortable and sophisticated, and the views are simply extraordinary, as the many photos here from other travellers attest. We asked for the two-bedroom option, which just meant that the third bedroom was locked. As we had been travelling for over a week already, we appreciated the laundry facilities.
It is within walking distance of the town (though it is quite a hike back up the hill), and there is a bus service to the Heritage Hotel over the road. Though when the temperatures plummeted, we tended to drive.
It was very reasonably priced for Queenstown between school holidays and before the ski season started.
We will definitely return.
I discovered this place online was searching for a nice place for 5 adults from Auckland to relax unwind and enjoy 3 day stay 18-21 April in Queenstown. I booked 3 bedroom Lake view Villa. Best decision I made well worth it The Villa was immaculately clean. The Kitchen, Dinning and lounge are spacious and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, The bedrooms are spacious, King room has beautiful view of the lake on suite bathroom , beds very comfortable bathrooms have luxurious amenities. Family loved heated floors to the overhead showers. The view is what caught our eyes as soon as you open front door Spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu & The Remarkables!!
Highly recommended staying here. Definitely coming back with our kids next time 😉
We all love Queenstown

Happy Customer
Cannot rate this place high enough. The location is superb as you are tucked away from the hustle of a busy Queenstown, we had views overlooking the lake and from the living room you can only see the lush lawn, some tussocks and then water water water. It was beautiful. Staff super friendly and helpful and you feel like you are almost in a holiday home with no one around you. Great facilities in your apartment. Bedding was really nice luxurious, was able to do some washing and drying in our room, kitchen well equiped. Decor lovely. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again.
The Platinum villas are an amazing find in Queenstown. They are a high quality group of villas on the lower area of Fernhill. The build quality and fittings in the villas are to a very high standard and have everything you need on holiday. We had a 3 bedroom villa overlooking the lake and the views were fabulous. The villas were extremely clean and we got a mid stay clean as we stayed a week. Perfect for our needs.
Downstairs was a very comfortable lounge/dining/kitchen combined, which was a good size. It had a fire that was lit with the touch of a button if it gets a bit cooler. The large windows opened out onto the well mown lawn at the front and had a table and 4 chairs (which was the only thing that could have been more comfortable). You could also see a tennis court just below which I believe can be used for free. Upstairs was 3 very comfortable bedrooms (2 queens and a twin). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The main Queen had an on suite and a balcony overlooking lake Wakatipu. There were also robes in each bedroom to relax in.
The villas are about a 20mins walk to Queenstown. We walked in many times, as parking can be difficult in Queenstown. On the way back, the last 5 mins is a steep uphill (either via the road of by the gravel path that cuts past the tennis courts). We sometimes found that to be a bit much after a long day but Queenstown taxis were very affordable (about $12-14 from Queenstown centre). There is also a bus that goes right past villas. We never used it because it was $4 per person to pay cash (we had 4 people so a taxi was cheaper) or $2 I think if you got a B card and put money on it before the trip. You can do this in town.
The people on reception were very friendly and gave lots of good information on our arrival. They also helped us ensure our Countdown order got to the right place.
We all really loved everything about these villas and would highly recommend them and we would definitely stay again.
