Fantastic, casual backpackers
One of the best backpackers around. Stayed in a very clean and tidy double room. Facilities were very good, big kitchen and common room with log fire. Large garden for outside relaxing. Washing machine and dryers available. Discounted tickets for Polynesian Spa available at reception. Gerard and Anya the owners are great hosts.

Great stay with friends.
We had a family room with attached toilet and shower. Really good stay for the price they offer. Feel free to book them in. Loved the stay. Common kitchen and toilets also available. Friendly staff. Cheers 🍻

Great atmosphere, friendly staff!
This place is fantastic! The hostel layout creates a very social vibe. The staff are very friendly, informative and helpful. The rooms vary from private en suites to dorms. Would recommend to anyone staying in Rotorua.

Lovely little hostel!
We had 2 private rooms, one with an en-suite and one without. The lady who greeted us was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were a good size and very good value for money! The en suite was a little old and could do with a little refurb but that didnt effect the satu what so ever. Would recommend to anyone in rotorua!

Really nice people and clean environment
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and instantly knew it would be a great accommodation! My 2 friends and I were taken into the back house and the three of us were in a room together. Going from accommodation to accommodation you do not always get this lucky, but the lady at Funky Green was kind enough to do this for us. We were alone in this mini house our entire stay. The toilets were kept clean and we were able to get great recommendations from the staff. Great place to stay in Rotorua and was a great location to everything as well. My friends and I walked everywhere!
