Stayed here twice previously hence coming back again.
Visiting family and new(ish) born grandson for the first time since Covid started after an over 6 hoyr journey.
Room was, as usual, immaculate. Lovely enormous bed, very comfortable. Bathroom with bath made partner very happy.
After visiting family, had a very enjoyable couple of drinks in Bar next door. Pleasant staff and customers. Went to bed.
There was a built in vent fan that we couldnt turn off (couldn't find how to but am sure there will be a way) so the sound of it was on all night. 3.50am very loud I think it was bin men, followed by two more noisy lorries/deliveries. Just before 7am brewery delivery. Not just the noise of the barrels but shouting delivery men.
I would certainly recommend this hotel but remember and ask for a room at the front and not the back.
This was a ideal location and the hotel was comfortable. I have previously stayed at this hotel and although the room was smaller than previous it was adequate. Nice large bathroom with large rain shower. Price was good and being part of the Wetherspoons chain ideal for meals.
Very good quality hotel, rooms are a good size with nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and tea / coffee in room.
Convenient as in town centre and above wetherspoons pub so handy for food and drink. Only downside was not enough staff on in the morning that we were there, so breakfast was cooked but was sat waiting be served as only one person serving food and running the bar.
We came to Corby, England for my husband's job. They sent him to Corby for schooling. We live in New York. From the moment we walked in, Tina who helped us, was very, very friendly and accommodating. We had many questions and she had patience in answering them. The pub restaurant was on the 1st floor. We couldn't hear anything upstairs in our Room. The food was very good in a very pleasant atmosphere. The folks behind the bar again, were very friendly and accommodating. Surprisingly the weather was very nice, breezy, cool but hardly any rain. Make sure if coming from outside of England you bring the correct adapter for electrical its 230 V. We got ours through Amazon. Plus in they don't use washcloths for washing ones face. They use hand towels, which we found odd. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Behind the Inn is Corby Center. Many shops and stores. We would definitely stay here again!
Stayed for 3 nights for a family party in the area. Booked two rooms. It’s very local and near the town centre with parking nearby, that was reasonably priced.
The rooms were nicely decorated and overall clean however one room smelt very musty. The corridor outside our rooms also smelt very musty/ stale. It wasn’t very pleasant but the rooms were nice.
Staff were friendly and the housekeeping lady was lovely, very obliging and helpful.
