We were 6 families who spent a week at this fantastic place. We played in the river, played pool and made a lot of good food in the kitchen. The area is so beautiful and I would love to come back. The rooms had bathrooms and it is a very cosy house In good condition.
The site is just great ! The scenery with river, rocks, olive trees, pool, huge terrace, very quiet, old mill..
Room comfort is good as far as you know what Scandinavian bedding is.
You have to manage the place very collaboratively ! Especially the huge kitchen.
We did manage to switch on the water heater on not sunny day to ensure we have hot showers or baths.
Looking at other reviews, all drawbacks mentioned are actually easily manageable. (Water, pool access for kids - we had 8 at some points). But the place is not a state of the art jewel nested in old walls, it is an ancient building with its constraint and normal recent comfort.
We stayed for two nights in August with our daughter and two friends aged both 16 and 17. We had 3 rooms. All rooms were fantastic, very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms had toiletries to use which were very nice and plenty of tissues also.
The beds were very comfortable.
Plenty of wardrobe space and a lovely balcony to admire the views.
There are also tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The gardens are beautifully kept.
The pool is large with beautiful view. You can stand up comfortably in the pool in all places.
There are plenty of sun beds and hammocks around so no need to worry at all about relaxing outdoors.
There are parasols also if you require a bit of shade from the midday sun.
Towels are supplied .
The food here is very good and the service is always attentive.
The kayaks are great to go on the Orb river. You can land on the little beachs along the way and explore.
We took a five hours ride on canöes down the Orb river, starting in the Pont de Tarassac, all the way to Roquebrun. The Miravel domaine happened to be right on the bank around lunch hour so we had a luxurious meal served in restaurant conditions before finishing our trip down stream !
The service is always very good and everyone is very friendly.
It is lovely to sit outside in the evening having dinner, while taking in the views, which are magnificent.
Miravel is also quite musically inclined. We had a great BBQ, and a live piano concert. There are two excellent pianos available for everyone to play.
The views are breathtaking, and thevalleys and mountians around are filled with stunning scenery.
Overall we had a lovely time at this gorgeous Moulin de Graïs and would definitely return to Miravel.
Rest assured that you will have a lovely time here and you will want to return. We will be going back again in the next few years.
Well done to all the staff and thank you for your hard work.
Sincerely, K. S.
