Fabulous views from our huge room and one of the best breakfasts of all of our stays across Europe.
The walk up to the Castle is well worth it. Take cash with you as card payments can be a problem when trying to find somewhere to eat without cash.

This was our favourite resting place during our cycling tour of the historic villages. Located in a cobbled street, after cycling up and up a very steep hill, we were delighted to find a room with a view.! We were on the top floor of the hotel and the glass elevator took us up, giving us a first glimpse of the view. Our room was very large and well appointed. Mansanto is an inspiring village created from granite boulders. A walk to the castle is a must, as is dinner amongst the boulders.
Breakfast was super!
Staff very helpful and friendly. Happy to serve tea on the terrace when requested.
Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, very friendly and customer oriented staff . The room is clean and cosy and the quality of sleep was very good. The breakfast was enough and tasty: scrambled eggs, ham, fresh juices, yogurt, fresh fruits, coffee, milk. The view are spectacular and the hotel is situated in the heart of the town. There is no refrigerator in the room but the receptionist provided us an ice bucket for the wine.

GeoHotel Escola is the only new accommodation available in the unique granite village of Monsanto. The staff were friendly, helpful and had functional English. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean and comfortable with a good king sized bed. Breakfast included freshly cooked mushrooms, eggs and bacon which were nicely done as well as a smorgasbord selection of cereal, fruit, cheese, ham and breads. GeoHotel Escola is well located and a good place to stay in Monsanto.

A gem hidden amongst the rocks of Monsanto. Simply decorated, spacious, clean rooms in a small modern hotel in the heart of the village. When we arrived it was a very misty evening, so we couldn't see much but the next morning we woke to a beautiful sunny day with stunning views from our room which was on the top floor. Breakfast was a small selection of hot and cold items, but good quality. Would visit again
