Group of 5 friends stayed and we all enjoyed the week. The hotel is good value and reasonable amenities. Someone reviewed this and said they had to pay for the sauna etc. We didn’t. The pool is good. The food in particular was excellent. Self service buffet breakfast lunch and dinner. We were expecting to lose weight that week, not put it on! All included as was all self help wines. The quality of the daily buffet surprised us all. Staff extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. The guy in the ski hire room Nick, excellent. Someone on here has described it as youth hostel. That’s unfair. It’s a budget to mid end hotel. The bus stop is right outside the hotel, a big bonus. The nearest ski lift is 5 mins walk in ski boots. My only gripe the whole week was that in what is overall a very good hotel and all inclusive ski week holiday is that they supply shower sachets but no hand soap at the bedroom sink. That’s an easy thing to rectify but incredibly basic requirement not being met. Definitely would return.
My husband and I stayed for two nights in July 2013. The rooms were clean and modern with a good size bathroom and shower. There was a free indoor pool (we did not use) and for an extra cost a sauna. The dinner was of good value for 16 euros...full buffet with salads, a soup, mains, cheeses and deserts. The wine and water where also included in the price. The breakfast for 8 euros was also fine but would have been nice to have some (soft or hard boiled) eggs included. The internet connection was fine, but you will need a password for each device you have. They also had a small bar where you could purchase a drink and a nice patio for sunning. For 60 euros a night it was the best deal we got on our cycling holiday.
This concrete block of hotel rooms is not really pretty. The rooms however are clean and spacious, but very sensible for sounds. We made a slight mistake by taking the buffet and thinking it closed at 21h, when it closed at 20h, so we could only enjoy it for 15 minutes before everything was taken away. The buffet would have been good quality for value. The hotel has a swimming pool. All and all, it reminded me a bit of a youth hostel, but for the room price of 62 euro, not a bad bargain...
This is not a B&B but a new 3 star hotel with pool, bar and restaurant. It was a real nice suprise arriving here late in the evening. It is a bit away from the center of Valloire. The rooms were nice, new and clean. There was supposed to be free Wifi, but it did not work during our stay, which I think is unacceptable as I really needed it. As it did ot work I took the car to Valloire and had a beer in a bar where they had free wifi. If I needed to be in Valloire again I would stay here again if needed. Very good value in the summer at 58€.
